"In this book, we show what in our eyes was social cohesion in practice during our time in this intriguing village. In addition, we expand the definition of social cohesion by showing how people from different parts of the world and walks of life, understand the concept of social cohesion and what it means to them. You will have the possibility to dive into different definitions and meanings of one concept, that for many of us plays a central role in our daily lives, whether we acknowledge it or not."

About last weekend in Prague, invited by our friends from PhaseBook: Art Book & Zine Fair Prague !¡!¡

Incredible time where for the first time we took our fresh book ´Bound: Photography born in Nepal´ to international lands.

Also, last weekend we also exhibited our book - and sold some copies - in TOKYOn joulumyyjäiset / TOKYO's Christmas Sales in Kiasma in Helsinki.

Thanks always to SGT [sgt.aalto.fi] and Aalto Global Impact for their support.
Moving forward. For more about our project, always invited to www.nepali.fi

"The Sustainable Global Technologies Studio course ended in May, earlier this year, while we keep doing and doing. By November 24th, closing day of ´Nepali – An exhibition´, we will all have the chance to touch for the very first time – while officially launching – the photo book we titled ´Bound: Photography born in Nepal´. This book calls for an open question, simple as what does social cohesion mean to you."

Ensimmäisen kerran näyttely on järjestetty Nepalissa keväällä 2019, m***a tällä kertaa tapahtumapaikkana toimii Helsinki.

Tarvitaanko todella luonnonkatastrofi, jotta saadaan ihmiset aidosti kokoontumaan yhteen? Menneisyys ja nykyisyys. Erilaisuus ja samankaltaisuus. Onko meidän mahdollista unohtaa, tai jopa vaalia tätä…

“It has been a moment since we returned from the field trip and I’m still on my way to normal routines. The field trip was full of new experiences and interesting human contacts. At this point it’s hard to understand all the things I have actually learned during the field trip. However, I’m sure that the journey changed something in each of us permanently, and it will affect definitely how we act and think in the future situations.”
