🙌 We just got some exciting results with our partner Tallinn University on their international student admissions pilot. Read more below!

Tallinn University wanted to know more about how they could help their international students to enroll after getting accepted to the programs. They partnered with Annie Advisor to experiment a bot-assisted support to increase the applicant engagement. 💜

The results went far beyond expectations. A whopping increase in their international enrollments was 45% while cutting manual admissions work in half! Their conversion rate from interested applicants to actual submitted applications jumped from 22% last year to 32% this year. ⚡ ⚡

Helping students thrive from day one at !

Starting vocational studies can be exciting, but also overwhelming. At Vantaan ammattiopisto Varia - Vantaa Vocational College Varia, where over 6,000 students study across 160 programs, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing support is critical.

In partnership with , we launched a student support assistant that proactively checks in with new students and connects them to help - whether it’s study planning, academic guidance, or well-being services.

💬 71% of students responded to the messages
🙋‍♀️ Up to 21% asked for support at the beginning of the school year
📚 Most common needs: study planning, general subjects, academic challenges, and health

The solution scales efficiently... Support is offered at the right time, reducing dropout risk and ensuring no student feels left behind.

🎓 Mitä tapahtuu, kun tekoäly tuodaan opiskelijatuen rinnalle juuri oikealla hetkellä?

Metropolia Ammattikorkeakoulu ja Annie Advisor päättivät ottaa yhdessä selvää.

💬 Kuluneen vuoden aikana tuhannet Metropolian opiskelijat saivat tekstiviestejä, jotka tarjosivat tukea heidän opintojensa eri vaiheissa – opintojen aloituksesta aina opinnäytetyöhön ja valmistumiseen asti.

📊 Tulokset näyttivät seuraavalta:
✅ 52 % vastausprosentti opiskelijoiden keskuudessa (merkittävästi korkeampi kuin sähköpostilla)
✅ 384 opiskelijaa kertoi tarvitsevansa tukea – useimmiten opintojen suunnitteluun tai mielenterveyteen liittyen.
✅ Henkilöstö pääsi reagoimaan tukipyyntöihin nopeammin. Opiskelijat tarttuivat tukeen helposti Annien viestien kautta.
✅ Metropolia hyödyntää jatkossa kerättyä tietoa tukipalveluiden kehittämisessä – opiskelijoiden hyvinvointi on nyt seurattavissa.
