Out of 380 rigorous applications across Europe, Annie Advisor has been selected as one of just 6 finalists to compete for the prestigious 200 000 € NN Social Innovation Startup Award in Amsterdam! We are beyond excited!! 🎉🎉🎉

Every year, thousands of students silently struggle with academic challenges or mental well-being, and up to 80% of them never reach out to campus services for help until it’s too late (source: WHO).

We created Annie to change this, proactively checking in with students on channels they actually use, like SMS and WhatsApp, to catch the early warning signs before they become a crisis.

Being chosen from hundreds of incredible European innovations is a humbling validation that student well-being and dropout prevention are more critical than ever.

In June we are headed to Amsterdam to pitch alongside five other inspiring teams who are building technology to change how people are looked after, taught, and included: grandmama, ObsessLess, eFrontiers, Floow.ai & WUK. 🫰

Spending hours on phone calls and manual emails can leave little room for real human connection in student support.

Before automating their outreach, the team at Scheepvaart en Transport College (STC Rotterdam) faced a significant barrier where 60% of students were left unreached.

By shifting from heavy manual tracking to automated WhatsApp check-ins, they changed how they support their students. The system handles the initial data collection so the team instantly knows who needs help and why.

🙌 We just got some exciting results with our partner Tallinn University on their international student admissions pilot. Read more below!

Tallinn University wanted to know more about how they could help their international students to enroll after getting accepted to the programs. They partnered with Annie Advisor to experiment a bot-assisted support to increase the applicant engagement. 💜

The results went far beyond expectations. A whopping increase in their international enrollments was 45% while cutting manual admissions work in half! Their conversion rate from interested applicants to actual submitted applications jumped from 22% last year to 32% this year. ⚡ ⚡
