Laulau Oy

Två roliga och produktiva dagar med inspelningar av Laulaus svenskspråkiga sånger i Laulaus sommarstugstudio tillsammans med Jenny Backman-Pråhl – sångöversättare, sångare och medutbildare – och min son Eino (), som ansvarade för inspelning och redigering. 🎶🥰😃🌺☀️

Inspelningarna är en del av ett 1,5-årigt utvecklings- och utbildningsprojekt i samarbete med Lojo stad. Projektets centrala mål är att stärka barns delaktighet genom musikbaserade arbetssätt samt att utveckla svenskspråkigt musikmaterial och pedagogiskt kunnande.

Projektet har fått stöd av Stiftelsen Brita Maria Rendlunds Minne sr. ❤️🙏

Och en liten siffra som faktiskt överraskade mig: jag räknade att Laulau redan har 90 sånger på svenska! Sångerna täcker en mängd olika teman och kan användas för att stödja många olika färdigheter. Alla finns dessutom på både finska och engelska. Och fler sånger ska översättas under hösten! 🎵

🌸 Laululaukku-webinaarit ovat toiminnallisia ja vuorovaikutteisia musiikillisia zoom-koulutuksia, jotka sisältyvät Laululaukku.fi-palvelulisenssiin. Webinaareja järjestetään 4 kertaa vuodessa.

🌼 Laululaukku.fi sisältää yli 230 laulua, tarvelähtöisen lauluhakutoiminnon, omat soittolistat, toiminnallista koulutussisältöä, aktiviteetti-ideoita, laulutauluja ja paljon muuta. Yhdessä webinaarien kanssa Laululaukku.fi-lisenssi antaa lasten kanssa tuöskentelevälle ammattilaiselle kokonaisvaltaisen työkalupakin musiikin monipuoliseen käyttöön lapsen kasvun ja oppimisen tukena.

After my visit to Da Nang, I spent a lovely and intensive week in Ha Noi, continuing my visits to many Laulau partner kindergartens. During the week, I delivered demo lessons, observed Songdrawing lessons conducted by teachers, and enjoyed many inspiring discussions with teachers and managers.

Having direct contact with the teachers who apply Songdrawing in their daily practice feels incredibly important and meaningful to me. I feel privileged to learn something new from every single visit and encounter. ❤️🥰🎵

In addition to collaborating with Laulau’s partner kindergartens, I had the pleasure of meeting many interesting potential partners, as well as old friends whom I have come to know during the past few years of active work in Vietnam. I was also especially happy to meet and work with my Laulau Vietnam colleague, Ms. Nguyen Minh Thuy, as we usually collaborate only through email and Zoom. ❤️🥰

On the very last day of my trip, I was invited to attend the wonderful graduation ceremony and end-of-year event of FIS Finland Preschool. The children’s performances were amazing, and exceptionally well prepared. The graduation ceremony for those completing their kindergarten journey was truly touching and brought tears to my eyes.

Thank you, Ha Noi! ❤️🥰 I will miss the city's vibrant energy and charming chaos, but above all, I will miss the wonderful people—from the youngest children to the adults—who made this visit so special. ❤️🥰🤗🇻🇳

Greetings from Hanoi, where I arrived yesterday from Da Nang. In Da Nang, I had the pleasure of visiting two Laulau partner kindergartens, FIS Da Nang 1 and 2, observing both Songdrawing and other lessons in different age groups, meeting the teachers and managers, sharing Laulau approaches, and learning about the Vietnamese EC education and curriculum.

On Saturday, I had an exciting day in Tam Ky and Hoi An as a guest of 4 different Monties Montessory Preschool campuses and the GG Languages Academy. Gave a demo lesson on Songdrawing, attended another Songdrawing lesson and met so many adorable little ones. Sang some songs together, and also tested the sounds of the Finnish national instrument, kantele. ❤️🥰🎵

It was also lovely to catch up with a good friend of mine, ms. Dinh Thi Thu Hang, lecturer of ECE at the Da Nang University, after a long time, and to spend some time with her family. 🥰Also proceeded the song translation project! 🤩🎵

A lot of exciting things happening also here in Hanoi, but I will tell about it later! 😁 And yes, it’s HOT here!! And yes, the food is delicious!! 😅🤣☀️😎🥭🍤🫔🥢

Happy Mother’s Day and greetings from Târgoviṣte, Romania. 🌺❤️🌷🇹🇩

I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating under the ERASMUS+ program with the amazing kindergarten, Gradinita Raza de Soare, Targoviste by delivering a 2-day Songdrawing training together with the staff, meeting lots of adorable children and following pedagogical activities of the child groups, meeting parents at the wonderful musical and cultural community event, dancing Romanian folk dances, making a musical trip to Finland together, and eating the most delicious traditional Romanian delicacies, prepared by the parents. ❤️😍❤️ 🥳

I feel priviledged having had this experience, connecting with like-minded and warm-hearted educators - new and old friends - and learning so much (about the history, culture, and early childhood education of Romania, even a lot of Romanian language!!). ❤️🤩

One of the most touching moments was to hear some of the Laulau songs in Romanian, sung by the children. ❤️🎵❤️🎵 Mulțumesc! ❤️
