It's time for a random quiz. All the phrases and vocabulary are from the songs and memes I have posted this week.

Learning Finnish from song lyrics is smart. Just focus on a couple of lines, you don't have to understand everything! Song lyrics will also help you to automatize grammar.

Here's Juice Leskinen: Musta aurinko nousee

Language info: a bunch of nice verbs for you
hymyillä - to smile
katsoa - to look at something
viedä - to take someone somewhere
päästä kiinni [+mihin?] - to get attached to something
voida - to be able to do something
huomata - to notice
nousta - to rise

Oh, note that "musta" has three meanings:
1) black
2) from me [spoken language for "minusta"]
3) in my opinion [spoken language for "minusta"]

So, the last part has a triple meaning:
huomaat, että musta aurinko nousee =
1) you notice that a black sun is rising
2) you notice that the sun is rising from me
3) you notice that I think that the sun is rising

What do you think that could mean? (There are no wrong answers.)

jää kantaa - the ice carries someone/something
olla rauhassa - to not worry
seurata [+ PART] - to follow someone

sulkea silmänsä - to close one's eyes
minä suljen silmäni - I close my eyes
sinä suljet silmäsi - you close your eyes

tuntea - to feel
maalata - to paint
kuulla - to hear
herättää - to wake someone up
vs. herätä - to wake up (yourself)

How would you say in Finnish:
