Mattlidens International is the IB section in Mattlidens Gymnasium In 1990 the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme was initiated.
Mattlidens Gymnasium is a coeducational Swedish-speaking upper secondary school founded in 1957. The school is situated in Matinkylä (in Swedish, Mattby) in Espoo (Esbo), 15 km west of the centre of Helsinki (Helsingfors). It has some 600 students of whom c. 150 are studying in the IB section. The school prepares its students for the Finnish matriculation examination (Finnish national curriculum) OR the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Congratulations to the 42 IB graduates for 2021!
We held a ceremony for the graduates at the school which was followed via a live stream. Here are a few screenshots from the ceremony!

This year's IB graduation will be streamed live from the school on Friday, August 27, starting at 13.00. Let the 21-22 academic year begin!
The teachers, staff, and tutors have been getting ready for the arrival of our students tomorrow.
We are really looking forward to having you at the school for contact teaching!
On Wednesday students will meet with their form teachers. preDP students will start at 10.00 and DP1/DP2 students at 11.00.

While the specific details about our IB graduation have yet to be made (we are waiting to see what COVID restrictions may or may not be in place), we can tell you that the IB graduation is scheduled to take place on Friday, August 27, starting at 13.00.
More details will be provided in August. Watch this space!

Our 42 IB Diploma graduates are part of a large group. Here are some of the global statistics we have so far.
More than 170,000 students across the world receive IB results Tomorrow, July 6, more than 170,000 students across the world will have received their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP), and Career-related Programme (CP) results from the May 2021 examination session.
