WiT Programme | Aalto University 17/07/2023

Attention all professionals and academics in architecture, design, engineering, business, social sciences and all interested in transdisciplinary approaches!

We are thrilled to announce the Aalto WiT Programme, a transdisciplinary professional diploma programme focusing on the resilience of human settlements in the Global Majority context. In collaboration with international organizations and local communities, the WiT Programme combines scientific methodologies with real-life experiences to address the challenges of humanitarian architecture, emergency response, and sustainable development.

The application period for the WiT Programme is from August 15th to September 30th, 2023. Stay tuned and more information coming soon here:

WiT Programme | Aalto University Aalto WiT Programme is a 5-month transdisciplinary professional diploma programme under the Aalto University World in Transition Research LAB (WiTLAB). The programme focuses on the resilience of human settlements in the Global Majority context.

IDBM Challenge 2022 Final Event is here!

Could we solve the energy crisis one household at a time? Which measures should we take to tackle mental health among the youth?

Eleven teams from the International Design Business Management programme will take the stage to share their insights and propose solutions to the global issues of today. We'll also be accompanied by two external speakers sharing their expertise about dealing with transitions themselves.
