Retkipäivä Fiskarsissa – historiaa, taidetta ja yhdessäoloa (scroll down for English version)
Vietimme lauantain 6.6. Fiskarsissa. Mukaan lähti myös HYHY:n jäseniä, ja samalla verkostoiduimme naapuriyliopiston henkilökuntayhdistyksen kanssa.
Ohjelmassa oli opastettu tunnin kävelykierros Fiskarsin ruukin maisemissa – historiaa unohtamatta. Yhteinen lounas ja kahvihetki kuuluivat tietysti päivään.
Iltapäivällä jokainen sai kartan ja aikaa kierrellä omatoimisesti. Pajat, putiikit, museot, ravintolat ja luonnosta nauttiminen tarjosivat jokaiselle jotain. Pieni kesäsadekaan ei haitannut tunnelmaa. Fiskarsin kesänäyttely avautui juuri lauantaina, joten pääsimme mukaan avajaishumuun ja väenpaljouteen.

Day Trip to Fiskars – history, art, and togetherness
We spent Saturday, 6 June in Fiskars. Members of HYHY joined us as well, and we took the opportunity to network with members of the neighboring university’s staff association.
The program featured a one-hour guided walking tour through the Fiskars Village, with plenty of history along the way. A shared lunch and coffee break were, of course, part of the day.
In the afternoon, everyone received a map and had time to explore independently. Workshops, boutiques, museums, restaurants, and simply enjoying nature offered something for everyone. Even a light summer shower didn’t dampen the mood. Fiskars Village Art & Design Biennale opened on Saturday, so we got to experience the buzz and the crowds of the opening day.
