✨ Sha'ban: The Month of Accountability & Preparation ✨

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

“That is a month (Sha’ban) to which people do not pay much attention, between Rajab and Ramadan. It is a month in which deeds are taken up to the Lord of the Worlds, and I like that my deeds be taken up while I am fasting.”
(Sunan an-Nasa'i 2357 – Hasan)

What is Tajweed?

Tajweed (تجويد) comes from the Arabic root word "ج و د", which means "to improve" or "to make better." It refers to the rules that govern the proper pronunciation of Arabic letters and words during Quranic recitation.

By applying Tajweed, each letter is pronounced from its correct origin (Makhraj) with its proper characteristics (Sifaat), preserving the beauty and meaning of Allah’s words.

Reciting without Tajweed can result in mispronunciations that change the meaning of the Quran. Learning Tajweed ensures accurate and respectful recitation of the Quran.
