Albatross Daycare

Very active week at the Hawks! Last week Tuesday we spent the day at Preschool, where we learned about the routines, teachers and even got to go to a very fun park nearby. For the rest of the week they have mostly been playing outside and enjoying the summery weather. Lately some of them have spent a lot of their time doing some "archeology" around the yard we also spent Friday morning biking!

Following our recent preschool graduation, we enjoyed a calm yet engaging week of activities. 🎓
From a surprise ukulele session at the library 🎸🎶 (we were so proud of the kids for asking to join in!) to welcoming our future preschoolers for a classroom visit, the fun didn't stop.

To beat the warm weather, we had some post-lunch ice cream! 🍦 Thursday morning was spent exploring the Angry birds park, where the children enjoyed playing on all the different attractions in the park.

During outside play Owls loved getting their hands dirty experimenting with sand and water. We ended the week on a high note with an indoor Friday dance party! 🕺🏻💃🏻

This week the Puffins have been immersed in enjoying outdoors time in the warmer weather we have finally now ☀️. They have been playing a lot with trucks 🛻, blowing bubbles, watering the plants 🪴, etc

The Finches have been enjoying the different activities in the classroom. With summer coming soon, everybody is relaxing and taking a slower pace.

This week we visited the Hawks classroom and it was very exciting to see where the Finches will move to in the future. We also enjoyed a great bike/scooter ride and sunny weather.

The Penguins went on their end of year trip this week! ☀️ They had a lovely picnic 😋 and enjoyed playtime in a new park 🛝. And on the way to and back from there, there were many building sites and excavators that they stopped to watch. It was so interesting! 🏗️

We also did biking 🚲. The Penguins are becoming more confident in their skills and riding for a longer time 👏🏼
