We have had two intense days of training for the leaders of the girls’ club from the primary, secondary school, College and oratory.
At the end of the sessions, led by AWSAD, the girls, young women and teachers who accompanied them expressed their gratitude for the importance of respecting and valuing their feminine dignity, as well as the need to have tools to encourage the rest of the students at the school, detect cases of gender violence and learn about the legal channels available to empower girls and women who are suffering from it...
Thank you to everyone who made this possible!!!! We believe in the education of children and young people, but above all in the education of girls and young women. ‘We, as women, can do it.’

We are very happy and grateful to Space science and geo-spatial institute for the great opportunity to participate in this important training programme that empowers girls and their female teachers across Ethiopia in the field of science through astronomy and space, helping them to become future professional advocates for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines for the benefit of our society and the growth of Ethiopia.
We believe in quality education, we believe in education that trains the scientists of the future, we believe in education focused on girls/women.
Because whoever educates a child educates a man, whoever educates a woman educates a generation.
