Day 1 Highlights | EdTech Week Ethiopia 2026 Demo Day and investment forum

We kicked off EdTech Week Ethiopia 2026 (March 24–27) at the Addis Ababa Science Museum with a powerful theme: Integrating EdTech for Inclusive, Impactful, and Gender-Responsive Learning.

The day brought together government leaders, global partners, innovators, and educators for a high-impact Demo Day: Knowledge Sharing & Ecosystem Dialogue.

Today, 10/03/2026 (G.C.) in Addis Ababa, a questions and answers meeting was held for us. The meeting was organized by Consultants and Reach for Change.
The questions focused on the achievements and progress of Reach for Change, both in the near future and the long term. After discussions and responses, it was agreed that any existing gaps or weaknesses should be corrected and improved.
The consultants suggested that many companies are doing very well in their work, especially in areas such as collaboration with schools, teachers, students, and school education administrations. As an example we have seen, the Qalam Education Platform in Jigjiga was presented. The presentation was delivered by Nuriye, the team member who came from Jigjiga, whom we warmly welcomed.
