Meet Ethel Caterham, a remarkable British woman who just celebrated her 116th birthday 🎉 on August 21, 2025.

Born in 1909 in Hampshire, she has now been officially recognized as the world’s oldest living person 🌟 — and also the oldest Briton in history.

Ethel has lived through two World Wars, seen more than 20 Prime Ministers, and even survived COVID-19 at age 110. 🕰️🇬🇧

Her secret to long life? 💡
👉 “Never argue with anyone. I listen, and I do what I like.”
👉 “Say yes to opportunities, stay positive, and enjoy everything in moderation.”
