ታሪክን በምስማት መኖር የለመደ
ማንበብን አቁሞ መስማት የወደደ

ማንበብ ማሰላሰል ህሊናው ሲጠፋ
ማሰብ ማገናዘብ ሁሉም አብሮ ጠፋ

ለስልጣን ኮርቻ ትርክትን ፈጠረ
በወሬ የሚጓዝ ትውልድ ተፈጠረ

ውሸትን ከእውነት መለየት ያልቻለ
የህዝብ ንብረትን ለቀማኙ ያደለ

ከማንበብ መስማትን ምርጫ ያስቀመጡ
ወልጋዳ ሃሳብን ወዳንተ ካመጡ

አታላይ ነዋይን አይተው የመረጡ
በወልጋዳው እንጨት ዛፎች ተቆረጡ

በትርክት በውሸት ሰላምህ ሲዳፋ
ባልኖርከው ልጅነት በውሬ ሲጠፋ

ለምን አናነብም
ለምን አንጠይቅም
