ለክረምት ትምህርት ሰልጣኝ መምህራን የኢ-ለርኒንግ ገለፃ ተሰጠ

(ኮትዩ፣ ነሐሴ 14 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም) - ገለፃውን ያስጀመሩት የምርምርና ማህበረሰብ ጉድኝት ምክትል ፕሬዘዳንት ዶ/ር ቴዎድሮስ ሙሉጌታ፣ ቴክኖሎጂ ከምንጊዜውም በፈጠነ ሁኔታ እየተስፋፋ በመሆኑ የክረምት ትምህርት ሰልጣኝ መምህራን ስልካቸውን ብቻ በመጠቀም በቤታቸውም ሆነ በማንኛውም ሥፍራ ሆነው በኢ-ለርኒንግ ትምህርታቸውን መማርና በትምህርታቸውም ስኬታማ እንዲሆኑ የሚያግዝ በመሆኑ ትኩረት ሰጥተው መከታተል እና በተግባር ላይ ማዋል እንዳለባቸው አሳስበዋል፡፡

የኮተቤ የትምህርት ዩኒቨርሲቲ የኢ-ለርኒንግ ማኔጅመት ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ደረሰ ተርፋ እንደገለፁት፣ ለክረምት ትምህርት ሰልጣኝ መምህራን የተሰጠው የኢ-ለርኒንግ ገለፃ ሰልጣኖቹ ትምህርታቸውን በኦንላይን እንዴት መማር እንደሚችሉ አስፈላጊውን ግንዛቤ የሚያስጨብጥ ነው፡፡
ገለፃው የኢ-ሼ (e-SHE) ፕላትፎርምን በመጠቀም የክረምት ትምህርት ሰልጣኝ መምህራን የኤስ ኤስ (SS) ኮርስን በመውሰድ እንዴት ውጤታማ እንደሚሆኑ፣ በክፍል ውስጥ ከተወሰነው የገፅ ለገፅ ትምህርት ባሻገር በየትኛውም ሥፍራ ሆነው ትምህርታቸውን እንዲከታተሉ፣ የተሰጣቸውን አሳይመንት በቀላሉ እንዲሰሩና እንዲልኩ፣ ተሳትፏቸው እንዲጨምርና በአጭር ጊዜ ውስጥ ግብረመልስ እንዲያገኙ የሚያስችል በመሆኑም ጠቀሜታው የላቀ መሆኑንም አስረድተዋል፡፡

ዓለም ወደ ዲጂታል ቴክኖሎጂ እየተሸጋገረ ነው ያሉት ዶ/ር ደረሰ ኢ-ለርኒንግ ዲጂታል ቴክኖሎጂን በመጠቀም በኤሌክትሮኒክስ አማካኝነት በኦንላይን የሚካሄደውን የመማር ማስተማር ሂደት አሳታፊና ተደራሽ እንዲሁም ከተቀረው ዓለም ጋር ተወዳዳሪ የሚያደርግ ሲሆን ይህንኑ ዓላማ ለማሳካት በዩኒቨርሲቲው የተሰጠው ገለፃም የተቋማዊ ኢ-ሜይል እና ሌሎች የዲጂታል ቴክኖሎጂ አጠቃቀሞችን ያካተተ ስለመሆኑም አመልክተዋል፡፡

በተሰጠው የኢ-ለርኒንግ ገለፃ ላይ ወደ 800 የሚጠጉ የክረምት ትምህርት ሰልጣኝ መምህራን የተሳተፉ መሆናቸውንም ለማወቅ ተችሏል፡፡

First Phase of TEFIQ Project Implementation Successfully Concluded at KUE

(K.U.E, August 19, 2026) – The first phase of the Technical Assistance for Teacher Education for Inclusion and Quality in Ethiopia (TEFIQ) project—implemented in collaboration with Kotebe University of Education (KUE), the Ministry of Education, regional education bureaus, and various partner institutions, has been declared a success.
This achievement was highlighted during a review and discussion session involving TEFIQ project officials and university leadership, where the project's performance and key milestones were assessed. Participants emphasized that the initiative should be strengthened and expanded through a second phase and a broader scale-up program.

In his welcoming remarks, the President of Kotebe University of Education, Dr. Teshome Nekatibeb, noted that the university is currently undergoing significant reform. He highlighted the important contributions and the positive impact the TEFIQ project has made, particularly in promoting gender-responsive education. He expressed his satisfaction with the results attained and welcomed the continuation of the partnership into its next phase.

Speaking at the event, Marja Matero, Chief Technical Advisor of the TEFIQ project, expressed her appreciation to the university's leadership for the warm welcome and the support extended to her and the project team. She noted that the first phase was successfully completed through a series of collaborative activities with KUE experts, including the development of training manuals and the delivery of various training programs. She emphasized that the implementation yielded strong results, providing a foundation for further strengthening the project during the remaining period and the second phase, which is scheduled to begin next year. She also expressed her gratitude for the productive collaboration and engagement with the university.

Dr. Ahmed Esmael, National Advisor for Teacher Education, explained that the project generated tangible results by bringing experts together to collaborate on outcome-based curricula, inclusive education, and research. He particularly highlighted the project's contribution to knowledge sharing and transfer among education professionals and institutions.

Other participants including Shalvi Sinha, Home Office Coordinator of TEFIQ MRAS, Finland; Dr. Tewodros Mulugeta, Vice President for Research and Community Engagement; Dr. Shimelis Zewde, Vice President for Administration and Development and Dr. Teshome Kondale, Director of the Institute of In-Service Training also reflected on the project's progress. They noted the significant work carried out by the Steering Committee, as well as activities related to monitoring and evaluation (M&E). They concluded that these efforts have established a strong foundation for the continuation, strengthening, and scale-up of the TEFIQ project.

Overall, the discussions underscored the success of the first phase and the importance of leveraging the lessons learned, achievements, and institutional capacities developed to ensure a more impactful second phase and national scale-up.

ኮተቤ የትምህርት ዩኒቨርሲቲ አጠቃላይ የሥርዓተ ትምህርት ግምገማ ማካሄድ ጀመረ

(ኮትዩ፣ ነሐሴ 13 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም) - የዩኒቨርሲቲው የሥርዓተ ትምህርት ግምገማ በተጀመረበት ወቅት የሥራ አቅጣጫ እና መመሪያ የሰጡት የኮተቤ የትምህርት ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዘዳንት ዶ/ር ተሾመ ነቃጥበብ፣ የዩኒቨርሲቲው የአካዳሚክ ፕሮግራም ክለሳ እና ግምገማ መርሐግብር እንዲሳካ ያደረጉ አካላትን አመስግነው፣ ዩኒቨርሲቲው ከመንግስት በተሰጠው ተልዕኮ መሠረት በለውጥ ውስጥ መሆኑን እና እየተከናወኑ ካሉ የለውጥ ሥራዎች መካከልም በመማር ማስተማር ረገድ እየተካሄደ ያለው የሥርዓተ ትምህርት ማሻሻያ አንዱና ዋነኛው መሆኑን ገልጸዋል፡፡

ቀደም ሲል በነበረው አሠራር በሥርዓተ ትምህርቱ እና የመምህራን ስልጠና ተግባራዊ ሂደት መካከል መራራቅ የነበረ መሆኑንና ይህም የጥራት መጓደል እንዲፈጠር ምክንያት መሆኑን ያነሱት ፕሬዘዳንቱ፣ ይህም የሥርዓተ ትምህርት ለውጥ ለማድረግ ምክንያት መሆኑን ገልጸዋል። በማሻሻያውም በሁለቱ መካከል ጥብቅ ትስስር ለመፍጠር፣ የትምህርት ሥርዓቱን የሚመሩ አካላት እንዲሁም የምናሰለጥናቸው መምህራን ብቁ ሆነው እንዲገኙ እና አጠቃላይ የትምህርት ጥራትን እውን ለማድረግ ትኩረት ተሰጥቷል ብለዋል፡፡
እንደ ፕሬዘዳንቱ ገለጻ፣ ኮተቤ የትምህርት ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከመማር ማስተማር ባሻገር ሁሉን ዓቀፍ የምርምር፣ የማኅበረሰብ አገልግሎት፣ የልዩ ልዩ መሠረተ ልማት ግንባታዎችን እና ሌሎች የለውጥ ሥራዎችንም በማከናወን ላይ ሲሆን፣ በዚህ የሥርዓተ ትምህርት ግምገማ ላይ የሚሳተፉ ምሁራን፣ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ከፍተኛ አመራሮች፣ ዲኖች፣ ዳይሬክተሮች፣ የትምህርት ክፍል ኃላፊዎች እና መምህራን ውጤታማ ሥራ በመሥራት ዩኒቨርሲተውን ወደተሻለ ደረጃ እንዲያሸጋግሩ አደራ ጨምረው አሳስበዋል፡፡

የዩኒቨርሲቲው የምርምርና የማኅበረሰብ ጉድኝት ምክትል ፕሬዘዳንት ዶ/ር ቴዎድሮስ ሙሉጌታ በበኩላቸው፣ የሥርዓተ ትምህርት ማሻሻያ ሃሳቡን የጠነሰሱ፣ ያጎለበቱ እና የመሩ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ከፍተኛ አመራሮች፣ ዲኖች፣ የትምህርት ክፍል ኃላፊዎች እና ሥራውን ሠርተው ያቀረቡ የዩኒቨርሲቲው መምህራን እና ገምጋሚዎችን አመስግነው፣ አጠቃላይ የሥርዓተ ትምህርት ለውጡ እንደ ሀገር የተሰጠንን ኃላፊነት ለመወጣት፣ ፕሮግራሞቻችንን ሳቢ ለማድረግ፣ ብቁ ዜጋ ለማፍራት የሚረዳ በመሆኑ፣ ከመድረኩ ትልቅ ግብዓት እንደሚገኝ ገልጸዋል፡፡

የአካዳሚክ ፕሮግራሞች ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ዘለቀ ቢዬሮ በመጀመሪያ፣ በሁለተኛና በሦስተኛ ዲግሪ በአጠቃላይ 88 ፕሮግራሞች ለግምገማ መቅረባቸውን በመጥቀስ፣ እነዚህም ፕሮግራሞች የዩኒቨርሲተውን ትኩረት የሚቀይሩ በመሆናቸው ትልቅ ስኬት ነው መሆኑን ብለዋል፡፡

በመርሐግብሩ መሠረት በዛሬው ዕለት የሥነትምህርት ኮሌጅ እና የቋንቋዎች ትምህርት ኮሌጅ የሥርዓተ ትምህርት ግምገማ ከአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ እና ከተለያዩ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች በመጡ ገምጋሚዎች የተጀመረ ሲሆን፣ በተለያዩ የትምህርት ፕሮግራሞች ላይ የሚካሄደው ይህ የሥርዓተ ትምህርት ግምገማ ለአራት ተከታታይ ቀናት የሚካሄድ ይሆናል፡፡

KUE and Wellness Ethiopia Sign Agreement to Promote the Holistic Development and Well-Being of Children and Youth

(KUE, August 2026) – The MoU establishes a collaborative partnership between the two institutions to design, implement, and promote programs that enhance the holistic development and well-being of children and young people through education, research, sports, health promotion, innovation, leadership development, and community engagement.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Tewodros Mulugeta, Vice President for Research and Community Engagement at Kotebe University of Education, who signed the agreement on behalf of KUE, emphasized that meaningful collaboration requires genuine contributions from both parties. “Collaboration means that both sides should contribute their lion share with consort and work together to create a real and lasting impact,” Dr. Tewodros said. He stressed that the partnership should go beyond teaching and learning to deliver practical benefits to the wider community.
Dr. Tewodros also highlighted KUE’s extensive experience and expertise in the field of Sports and Physical Education. He noted that the University has produced many professionals in the sports sector and said that working with Wellness Ethiopia would create an important opportunity to generate greater impact in the community.
He further explained that the two parties plan to work together to strengthen physical activity and sports programs in hospitals, schools, and other institutions, with the goal of promoting health and well-being while also identifying and developing talented athletes and future sports professionals.

Representing Wellness Ethiopia Mr. Yonas Yesh*tila, Executive Director expressed his appreciation to Kotebe University of Education for willingness to collaborate with the organization. Mr. Yonas explained that Wellness Ethiopia focuses on the holistic development of people, and emphasized that the organization will work closely with KUE to help develop skilled, capable, and well-rounded young people. He also presented the organization’s proposed action plan for implementing the MoU, outlining the key activities and areas of cooperation intended to translate the agreement into practical results.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials and representatives from both institutions. From Kotebe University of Education, Dr. Meseret Habtamu, Head of the President’s Office and Dr. Melkamu Afeta, Director for University-Industry Linkage and Technology Transfer at KUE participated in the ceremony. Representing Wellness Ethiopia were Board Members Mr. Daniel Asfaw, Mr. Brhanu Kapital, and Mr. Yalew Arga.

The partnership is expected to create a stronger platform for collaboration in education, sports, health promotion, research, youth development, leadership, innovation, and community engagement, contributing to the development of healthier, more skilled, and better-prepared young people.

KUE and EduTech ICT Solutions Sign Memorandum of Understanding

(KUE, August 2026) – Kotebe University of Education (KUE) and EduTech ICT Solutions PLC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening collaboration in education, research, digital learning, and academic quality assurance.
The MoU is designed to foster cooperation between the two institutions in the areas of content quality assurance, academic and pedagogical support, research-informed syllabus validation, and digital learning initiatives.

On behalf of Kotebe University of Education, the agreement was signed by Dr. Tewodros Mulugeta, Vice President for Research and Community Engagement. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Tewodros highlighted KUE’s long-standing experience and expertise in teaching and learning. He noted that the University has extensive knowledge and experience in areas including online education, adult education, digital training, content creation, and educational innovation.
He further emphasized that the partnership would create opportunities for the two institutions to work together on research projects, educational innovations, and a wide range of academic and professional topics.

On behalf of EduTech ICT Solutions PLC, the MoU was signed by Mr. Gurmu Tadesse, General Manager. Mr. Gurmu explained that his professional experience includes teaching in various schools and universities, and expressed his interest in utilizing the academic resources and expertise available at Kotebe University of Education.
He particularly highlighted the company’s interest in working closely with the English Language Department, including reviewing and evaluating courses, jointly developing and using instructional manuals, strengthening quality assurance, and collaborating on digital and online education initiatives. He also emphasized the importance of supporting these activities through research and evidence-based practices.

Dr. Melkamu Afeta, Director for University-Industry Linkage and Technology Transfer at KUE, also emphasized that the signing of the MoU should not be considered the ultimate goal. Rather, he stressed that its successful implementation and the achievement of tangible results should be the primary focus of both institutions. He also noted that both parties have a responsibility to translate the agreement into concrete activities and outcomes, and affirmed that Kotebe University of Education is fully prepared to contribute to the successful implementation of the partnership.

Following the signing of the MoU, the two institutions also reached an agreement to collaborate on the digital transformation of the English Language Center (ELIC), as well as on evaluation and assessment, digital instruction, and digital pedagogy.
The partnership is expected to strengthen the connection between higher education, research, technology, and industry, while creating new opportunities for innovation and improving the quality and accessibility of digital and online education.

Institute of Physical Education and Sports Conducts External Review of Short-Term Training Curricula

(K.U.E, August 12, 2026) – The Institute of Physical Education and Sports at Kotebe University of Education conducted an external review of two short-term training curricula designed to strengthen professional capacity in the sports sector.

The review program was officially opened by Dr. Mesfin Dejene, Special Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Kotebe University of Education. In his opening remarks, Dr. Mesfin commended the Institute for its initiative and continued efforts to expand professional training opportunities in the field of physical education and sports. He also welcomed academics and stakeholders from Addis Ababa University, Bahirdar University and Ethiopian Sports Academy, private and other stakeholders, who were invited to participate in the external review, and officially declared the review program open.

Dr. Tilahun Bereded, Dean of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports at Kotebe University of Education, emphasized the long-standing contribution of physical education and sports to the university. He noted that the field has become one of the university’s distinguishing areas of excellence and has produced numerous sports professionals over the years.
Dr. Tilahun further explained that the department has grown significantly over the years, evolving first into an institute and now moving toward college-level status. He noted that this growth reflects the institution’s commitment to expanding its academic programs and creating opportunities for advanced studies, including the planned introduction of PhD programs. He expressed his appreciation to the university leadership for its support in facilitating the Institute’s continued development.
He also highlighted the importance of short-term professional training programs in creating opportunities for sports professionals who have not had the chance to pursue university education. He noted that the expertise and professional perspectives of academics and specialists from different universities and institutions would provide valuable input for improving the curricula.
During the review, two short-term training curricula were presented and evaluated: “Health, Wellness and Fitness Coaching Curriculum” - presented by Mr. Cherenet Zewdie, “Sport Facility and Event Management Curriculum” - presented by Dr. Wegene Waltengus.
The reviewers and participants discussed the curricula in detail, providing professional comments, recommendations, and suggestions for further improvement. They noted that such programs can play an important role in addressing professional and competency gaps within Ethiopia’s sports sector.

The participants further emphasized the need for the university to implement the programs as soon as possible and to engage relevant government institutions and other stakeholders in the process, including the Ministry of Health, ministry of culture and sport, and the Addis Baba city administration youth and sport bureau, as appropriate.

The external review brought together academics and professionals from Addis Ababa University, Bahirdar University, Kotebe University of Education, government ministries and offices, the Addis Ababa City Administration Youth and Sports Bureau, private-sector sports organizations, and other relevant institutions.

The review is expected to contribute to the development of high-quality, practical, and professionally relevant short-term training programs that will help strengthen the capacity of sports professionals and support the development of Ethiopia’s sports sector.

EdTech Seminar and Exhibition Successfully Conducted at KUE

(KUE, August 7, 2026) – Kotebe University of Education (KUE), in collaboration with Reach for Change (RfC) and NUF Africa Research and Training Institute, successfully conducted the EdTech Seminar and Exhibition under the theme “Inclusive EdTech Solutions for Teacher Professional Development and Improved Student Learning Outcomes.”
The event brought together educators, researchers, innovators, policymakers, technology providers, and teacher trainees to explore the role of educational technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in improving teaching and learning.

Opening the seminar, KUE President Dr. Teshome Nekatibeb emphasized the importance of strengthening teachers’ digital competencies and effectively utilizing AI in education. He noted that AI should be viewed as an opportunity rather than a threat when used responsibly and supported by appropriate policies and continuous capacity-building initiatives.

Mekdim Gullilat, Country Manager of Reach for Change Ethiopia, highlighted that the seminar aimed to enhance teachers’ digital literacy and increase awareness of how emerging technologies can be integrated into the teaching and learning process.
The program featured presentations of two research papers on AI in education, discussions on opportunities and challenges of technology integration, and an exhibition by twelve EdTech innovators and entrepreneurs showcasing digital learning solutions and teacher support tools.

The event was attended by teachers participating in the Summer Teacher Professional Development Program, university leaders, education experts, researchers, students, development partners, and other stakeholders.

The successful organization of the event was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the ICT Executive Office of KUE, the Reach for Change team, and NUF Africa Research and Training Institute representatives, who coordinated the planning, technical preparation, exhibition setup, stakeholder engagement, and overall event management.

The seminar and exhibition served as an important platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration aimed at advancing digital transformation and improving educational outcomes in Ethiopia.

(ኮ.ት.ዩ፣ ሐምሌ 29 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም) - በኮተቤ የትምህርት ዩኒቨርሲቲ እና በፕሪሳይንስ ሰርቪስ ሰፖርት ኃላ/የተ/የግል ማኅበር መካከል በተደረገው የትብብር ውል ስምምነት መሠረት በዩኒቨርሲቲው ሲካሄድ የቆየው የአይ.ሲ.ቲ. መሠረተ ልማት ዝርጋታ ግንባታ መጠናቀቁን ተከትሎ ፕሮጀክቱን ለታለመለት ዓላማ በሥራ ላይ ለማዋል ለአምስት ቀናት ሲሰጥ የቆየው ስልጠና ተጠናቋል፡፡

በዚሁ ጊዜ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዘዳንት ዶ/ር ተሾመ ነቃጥበብ ባደረጉት ንግግር፣ በዘመነው ዓለም ውስጥ ለትምህርትም ሆነ ለማኅበራዊ ሕይወታችን አይ.ሲ.ቲ. እውቀትን ለማቅረብ፣ ለማዘመን፣ የመምህራንን እና የአስተዳደር ሥራን ለማገዝ ወሳኝ ሚና ስላለው፣ በዩኒቨርሲቲው የሚሰለጥኑ መምህራን ብሎም የዩኒቨርሲቲው ማኅበረሰብ በሙሉ እንደየሥራቸው ባህሪ ደረጃ በደረጃ ስልጠና በመውሰድ የአይ.ሲ.ቲ. እውቀት መጨበጥ እንዳለባቸው አመልክተዋል፡፡

የዩኒቨርሲቲው የአስተዳደርና ልማት ምክትል ፕሬዘዳንት ዶ/ር ሽመልስ ዘውዴ በበኩላቸው፣ ጨረታ ወጥቶ የአይ.ሲ.ቲ መሠረተ ልማት ዝርጋታ ግንባታውን ሲሰራ የቆየው ድርጅት ሥራውን አጠናቆ ለማስረከብ በሂደት ላይ በመሆኑ፣ ፕሮጀክቱን ተግባራዊ ለማድረግ የአይ.ሲ.ቲ ባለሙያዎች ከቲዎሪ ባሻገር በሥራ ላይ እንዲያውሉት የአምስት ቀናት ስልጠና መውሰዳቸውንና፣ ከስልጠናውም ተጨባጭ እውቀት ማግኘታቸውን በመግለፅ፤ ስልጠናው ፕሮጀክቱን ለመረከብ ሁኔታዎችን የሚያመቻች ከመሆኑም በተጨማሪ ዩኒቨርሲቲው የመማር ማስተማሩን ሂደት የሚያሳልጥ ከቀድሞው የተሻለ ፈጣን የኢንተርኔት አገልግሎት እንዲኖረው ያስችላል ብለዋል፡፡

የፕሪሳይንስ ሰርቪስ ሰፖርት ኃላ/የተ/የግል ማህበር ተወካዮች አቶ እያዩ ስዩም እና አቶ ሰለሞን ዶጁ፣ ለአምስት ቀናት የቆየው ስልጠና በፕሮጀክቱ መሠረት የቀረቡ የአይ.ሲ.ቲ መሠረተ ልማት ዝርጋታ፣ የኮር ኔትዎርክ፣ አጠቃላይ የሞኒተሪንግ ቱል አጠቃቀም እንዲሁም ተመሳሳይ ተግባራትን የአይ.ሲ.ቲ ባለሙያዎች በአግባቡ ማስተዳደር እና መጠቀም በሚችሉበት ተግባራዊ እውቀት ላይ ያተኮረ ሲሆን፣ በቀጣይም ዩኒቨርሲቲው የህንፃ ግንባታዎችን ሲያስፋፋ የኔትዎርክ አጠቃቀሙን ለማስፋፋት እና ቀጣይ ተግባራትን ለማስቀጠል የሚያስችል መሆኑን አስረድተዋል፡፡

በስልጠናው ላይ የተሳተፉት የአይ.ሲ.ቲ ባለሙያዎች በበኩላቸው በአምስት ቀናት ቆይታቸው መሠረታዊ የሆነ ጠቃሚ እውቀት ማግኘታቸውን በመጥቀስ፣ የፕሮጀክቱ አገልግሎት ሰፊ በመሆኑ በቀጣይም ተጨማሪ ስልጠናዎች ቢሰጡ የሚኖረውን ጠቀሜታ ገልጸዋል፡፡

“ቡናን በጨለማ መጠጣት በዐይነስውራን ተማሪዎች አስተናጋጅነት” የተሰኘ መርሐግብር በኮተቤ የትምህርት ዩኒቨርሲቲ ተካሄደ

(ኮ.ት.ዩ፣ ሐምሌ 28 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም) - መርሐግብሩ የተካሄደው ዐይናማዎች ሙሉ በሙሉ ጨለማ በሆነ ክፍል ውስጥ ለ15 ደቂቃዎች በመቆየት በዐይነስውራን ተማሪዎች አስተናጋጅነት ኩኪስ እንዲመገቡ እንዲሁም ቡና እና ውሃ እንዲጠጡ በማድረግ ነው፡፡

በመርሐግብሩ ላይ የተገኙት የዩኒቨርሲቲው የፕሬዘዳንት ጽ/ቤት ኃላፊ ዶ/ር መሠረት ሀብታሙ፣ ዐይነስውራን እንደማንኛውም ሰው የራሳቸው ችሎታ እና ዕውቀት ያላቸው መሆኑን በማስታወስ፣ በዓለምአቀፍ እና በሀገር ውስጥ ማሳያ የሆኑ ተፅዕኖ ፈጠሪ ትላልቅ ሰዎች ስላሉ አይችሉም ብለን ዕድል በመንፈግ መቀጠል ሳይሆን ተገቢውን ዕድል መስጠት፣ በዚህ የ15 ደቂቃ ቆይታም ሕይወታቸውን በመረዳት የተሻለ እንክብካቤ ማድረግ እንሚገባ ተናግረዋል፡፡

የዩኒቨርሲቲው የሴቶችና ማኅበራዊ ጉዳዮች አካቶ ትግበራ ሥራ አስፈፃሚ ዶ/ር ፋሲካ በላይ እንደገለጹት፣ ቱጌዘር (Together) የተሰኘ የሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ በጎ አድራጎት ድርጅት ከኮተቤ የትምህርት ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጋር በመተባበር ያዘጋጀው ይህ መርሐግብር ዋና ዓላማው፣ ዐይነስውራን ተማሪዎች ይችላሉ የሚለውን ሃሳብ ለማጉላት፣ የዐይነስውራንን የዕለት ተዕለት ሕይወት በተግባር በመረዳት ትክክለኛ ግንዛቤ እንዲኖረን ለማድረግ እና በተሻለ ሁኔታ ውጤታማ እንዲሆኑ ለማገዝ የሚያነሳሳ መሆኑን አመልክተዋል፡፡

የቱጌዘር ሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ በጎ አድራጎት ድርጅት የህዝብ ግንኙነት እና የኩነት አስተባባሪ ማርታ ንጉሴ እንዲሁም የተሃድሶ ክፍል ኃላፊ አዜብ ገዳሙ በዚሁ ወቅት እንዳሉት፣ ድርጅቱ ከ13 ዓመታት በላይ ለሆነ ጊዜ እንደዚህ ዓይነት መርሐግብሮችን በማዘጋጀት ህብረተሰቡ ለዐይነስውራን ብሎም ለአካል ጉዳተኞች ያለውን ግንዛቤ እንዲያሻሽል የማድረግ ሥራ እና ሌሎች መሰል ተግባራትን ሲሰራ መቆየቱን ጠቅሰው፣ “ቡናን በጨለማ መጠጣት በዐይነስውራን ተማሪዎች አስተናጋጅነት” ወይም “ቡናን በጨለማ - Coffee in the dark”፣ በተመሳሳይም በሌሎች አካባቢዎች ሲካሄድ የቆየው “ማዕድ በጨለማ - Dining in the Dark” ሰዎች ስለዐይነስውራን ቆም ብለው እንዲያስቡ፣ እኛም ስለማንኛውም አካላችን ዋስትና ስለሌለን እና በማንኛውም ሰዓት ለዚህ ክስተት ልንዳረግ ስለምንችል በሥራዎቻችን ውስጥ የአካል ጉዳተኞችን ጉዳይ አካተን እንድንሰራ ለማስቻል ነው ብለዋል፡፡

በዛሬው ዕለት በተካሄደው መርሐግብር ከ200 የሚበልጡ ሰዎች በ10 ዙር ተሳትፈዋል፡፡
