Addis International Film Festival (AIFF) is an annual film festival created by Initiative Africa (IA) in 2007 and held in Addis Ababa and selected cities in Ethiopia. The festival seeks to use the power of film to support create awareness on social issues and showcase the country’s and the continent’s young documentary filmmaker and their work. A powerful testament to the human spirit, Media follows the remarkable journey of a teenage Yazidi girl who turns her camera on herself to process her trauma and search for her missing family.
