News Alert: The police in have started rounding up & detaining individuals who are not wearing face masks as of this morning.
"በአዲስ አበባ ለኮሮና ቫይረስ መከላከያ የአፍ እና አፍንጫ መሸፈኛ ጭንብል ያላደረጉ ሰዎችን ማሰር መጀመሩን የአዲስ አበባ ፖሊስ ኮሚሽን አስታውቋል። በዚህም መሰረትበአዲስ አበባ ከዛሬ ጠዋት አንስቶ የአፍ እና አፍንጫ መሸፈኛ ጭንብል ያላደረጉ ሰዎች በፖሊስ በመታሰር ላይ ናቸው።"

: Wearing face masks was one of the directives stipulated in Ethiopia's State of Emergency. On May 06 Addis Abeba Transport Authority said minibus customers in the city should wear face masks as of Friday May 08. The authority said mandatory face masks among those using public service transport system were introduced effective May 06.
