African Native languages should have to for Education and for Administration. Africa could be more fruit able if and only if they able to teach higher education by their native languages. Around Becho area there are so many farmers who lead their life through backward land farming system as like as other parts of Oromia Region. But no Minilik , no Hailesilase ,No military junta Mengistu Hailemariam, no Pseudo Tplf gov't able to change their life from this backward practice. Every time may be you have seen on their episode TV Program no more than two farmers’ life style. As i understand both of them also able to change their life maybe for the matter of time or via search another farmer’s handkerchief. So, all of us have to struggle to change our families life style according to our profession. As result, it should have to be supported by society based research and an organized center to carry out this Society based research.

Met with the African Union Commission Chairperson, H.E.Mohamed Yesuf this afternoon at the AUC Headquarters in Addis Ababa.
Our discussions focused on areas of mutual interest, including the regional peace and security situation. I also briefed the Chairperson on my recent mission to Sudan, where we agreed to strengthen IGAD–AU joint efforts towards advancing peace and stability in Sudan, for the benefit of the Sudanese people.

The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, met today with H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo, former President of the Federal Republic of and AU High Representative. They exchanged views on key regional developments and other issues of continental interest. The Chairperson commended President Obasanjo’s continued engagement in support of peace, dialogue and stability across the continent.

Elly Schlein parla di “boomerang” e di un presunto fallimento del Governo nella gestione dei migranti. Ma prima di fare propaganda sarebbe utile conoscere la differenza tra le questioni di cui si parla.

Schengen e il Patto su Migrazione e Asilo sono due cose completamente diverse e non c’entrano nulla tra loro. Ed è proprio il nuovo Patto che segna una svolta positiva per l’Italia nella gestione dei migranti cosiddetti “Dublinanti”.

Le nuove regole tutelano molto di più gli Stati di primo ingresso in tema di richieste di asilo e, con il rafforzamento del principio di Paese Terzo sicuro voluto dall’Italia, sarà più semplice effettuare rimpatri accelerati.

Riguardo alla situazione precedente a queste modifiche, questo Governo ha contrastato l’applicazione di regole insensatamente penalizzanti per noi e infatti, dal 2023 a oggi l’Italia ha respinto circa 80 mila richieste di presa in carico provenienti da altri Stati membri. Ed è grazie alla fermezza di questo Governo se l’Italia non si è limitata ad accettare passivamente tutto ciò che gli altri Stati ci chiedevano.

Cosa avrebbe fatto un Governo di sinistra? Probabilmente avrebbe accolto quelle richieste, aggravando ulteriormente la pressione sul nostro sistema di accoglienza e creando ancora più problemi nella gestione dei flussi migratori.

La priorità per l’Italia resta, in ogni caso, il contrasto all’immigrazione illegale di massa, non decidere semplicemente come distribuire i migranti in Europa.
E noi continueremo a lavorare per ridurre drasticamente gli arrivi irregolari: attraverso il rafforzamento delle frontiere esterne europee, la cooperazione con i Paesi di origine e transito, il contrasto ai trafficanti e una politica dei rimpatri più efficace.

È questa la strada che il Governo continuerà a seguire.

Discussions focused on the situation in Guinea-Bissau and the coordination of ongoing efforts in support of stability and political dialogue. The Chairperson reiterated the African Union’s readiness to continue supporting coordinated efforts aimed at promoting peace, stability and an inclusive political process in Guinea-Bissau.

The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, received the Bureau of the Pan-African Parliament, led by its President, Hon. Dr Fatih Boutbig. The Chairperson welcomed the Bureau to Addis Ababa and reaffirmed the Commission’s readiness to work closely with the Pan-African Parliament in advancing continental priorities.Both sides agreed on the need for closer cooperation between the Commission and the Parliament to support the effective implementation of Agenda 2063 and advance Africa’s integration and development objectives.

State Minister of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye "As part of the national plan to commemorate Pagume 4 as “የኅብር ቀን”, I held a productive discussion today, August 18, 2026, with Ambassadors and Consuls General of all Ethiopian Missions abroad, together with senior officials of the Ministry, on the detailed implementation plan for the commemoration.

We agreed on practical directions to ensure that “የኅብር ቀን”, is celebrated with exceptional significance across all Ethiopian Embassies and Consulates Generals worldwide, showcasing Ethiopia’s diversity, solidarity, and unity.

Our discussion also focused on strengthening our diplomatic efforts to share Ethiopia’s progress, shared aspirations, and development story with the international community—including achievements in food security, major national projects, macroeconomic reform, digital transformation, and the ongoing National Dialogue.
