Global Academy for Transformational Leadership – Ethiopia held an inspirational Executive Leadership Seminar for higher officials, administrators, and chief executive officers at Sheraton Addis Hotel. The seminar aimed to help leaders identify, describe, and prioritize some of the biggest opportunities and challenges executive leaders face in contemporary Ethiopia and design contextually relevant leadership solutions with practical applications. Prof. Ruth Okediji from Harvard School, Lord Dr. Michael Hastings from the British Parliament, Prof. Michael Whyte former Pacific University Provost and current GATL CEO, and Dr. Bekele Shanko founder and president of GATL, shared their expertise. GATL- Ethiopia strives to ensure seminar participants gain invaluable insights into the personalities, purposes, characteristics, and essential roles of executive transformational leaders.

The July Cohort in Ethiopia went really well. Leaders from different walks of life and professions attended Holistic Personal Leadership and Character Formation courses as they journey to pursue their MA in Transformational Leadership. The two courses were conducted by Professor Michael Whyte, Dr. Michael Wicker and Dr. Bekele Shanko. We visited Hamlin's Desta Mender to learn best practices of holistic transformation and learned from distinguished guest speakers. Our MA in Transformational Leadership is accredited by International Council for Higher Education. Registration is open to the upcoming Cohort in January 2023. A new cohort in Ethiopia starts in July 2022 for the MATL. Successful applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
