Fregenet Kidan Lehitsanat

Fregenet Kidan Lehitsanat (FKL) is a non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2004. We work with the aim of providing educational support to children from economically under-privileged families.

Fregenet Kidan Lehitsanat’s (FKL) mission was conceived and developed by a young university graduate named Fregenet Tafesse, affectionately called Liza. Her life was cut short by a fatal accident, but her ideals were put to practice by her friends and those who cherished her vision.

Liza realized that supported education would be the key to accessing education for children from economically depressed families, orphans and those from families victimized by HIV. The ideals of FKL are based on the concept that children who need food, uniform, stationeries, etc. in order to get education should be fully supported.

We will be using this page to update you on all the past work done by FKL, including all the children whose lives have been changed.
