አየር ጤና ክፍተኛ ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምሕርት ቤት በኢትዮጵያ አቆጣጠር በ1974 ሲከፈት ዘጠነኛና አስረኛ ክፍል ብቻ ነበረው። በ1977 ዓ.ም. የመጀመሪያዎቹን የማትሪክ ተፈታኞች አደረሰ።
ከአየር ጤና ጋር በአንድ ቀን የተከፈተው ሌላኛው ትምሕርት ቤት ቦሌ አጠቃላይ ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት ቤት ሲሆን ሁለቱንም ትምህርት ቤቶች መርቀው የከፈቷቸው በወቅቱ የትምህርት ሚንስትር የነበሩት ጓድ ሌተናል ኮሎኔል ጎሹ ወልዴ ነበሩ። ሚንስትሩ ይዘውት የመጡት ስም ረጲ አጠቃላይ ሚል ቢሆንም በእለቱ ግን በተማሪዎች ውስጥ በሚያደርጋቸው ነገሮች እንደ ጅል የሚታየው ሰለሞንን (የአባቱን ስም አላስታውሰውም) በግቢው ውስጥ በፎራፊነት የሚታወቁ ተማሪዎች

የሚንስትሩን እጅ ትጨብጣለህ ሂድና አየር ጤና ይሁን በል ያሉትን ተቀብሎ በማቅረቡና እነሱም በአንድ ላይ በጭብጨባና በፉጨት ነገሩን ስላጀቡት የትምህርት ቤቱ ስም አየር ጤና ሆነ። ዛሬ ይህ ስም ከዛም አልፎ የአካባቢው መጠሪያ ለመሆን በቃ።
