Since the unit is mobile and usually used at remote locations, it is not possible to get service from the utility lines. We have designed tailored solutions that can be fitted to the vehicle. Production of Gauze and Bandage:
In many clinics, gauze and bandage are not found as readily as they should be. Neither are they fairly priced. By manufacturing gauze locally, we plan to reduce the price and increase its availability in clinics nationwide. We own a utility model patent for a specialized gauze loom, which we have already designed and built. Our loom produces gauze from a 30cnt cotton yarn with regular spacing of about 3mm between warps/ wefts. A single loom has capacity of producing 200 meter gauze (90cm wide) per day. With 5 gauze looms, 23,000 meters of gauze can be produced monthly. TEXTILE

Innopia is a company engaged in design and manufacture of different electro-mechanical machines and components for health, textile and electronics sectors. Electronics Design and Manufacture:
Innopias targets the vastly open local market in Electronic products that are properly tailored to the local context. Construction instruments (Surveying and Measuring), Laboratory Equipment, Security systems, Industrial Controllers and Consumer Electronics are our major electronics imports. All electronic equipment are imported from abroad. Although import of some components is unavoidable, total reliance like ours has many problems as a nation. First of all, products designed elsewhere do not properly address local needs because they are not properly tailored to the local context. The second, and obvious, problem is that imported equipment are more expensive and require hard currency. Our objective is to design and manufacture tailor-made electronic instruments that have high demand in the local market. We, strongly, believe that Electronics manufacture can be started at small scale without sophisticated and expensive machinery. The biggest opportunity that we have is being able to observe local problems and having the expertise to solve them with digital technology. Although more areas will be addressed in the future, the immediate target is to work on two product lines: Instruments for Construction Works and Instruments for Educational Laboratories.
