Our 16-piece digital artwork collection served as the exhibition piece at the 2025 R2HC Humanitarian Health Research Forum, co-hosted by Elrha and APHRC in Nairobi, Kenya (May 7-9, 2025). Our artwork creatively summarized the key strategies and enablers for research impact in the health sector, effectively enabling participants to grasp the intervention methods implemented by Elrha in humanitarian health. It is encouraging to see creative illustration contributing to vital conversations on such an important area of research.

It has been over 150 years since the Golden Crown was looted by the British in 1868 from Ethiopia. The story of how the crown came to be is fascinating. Our illustration for this week's The Continent News depicts the origin story of this crown and how its existence is a reflection of a mother's love for her child.
