Habtamu is a physics at Assai Public School. He has gone above and beyond to support his grade 12 students in physics.

By utilizing the Assai eLearning Platform, which is implemented and supported by Bithio, Teacher Habtamu has provided his students with and learning materials such as worksheets, simulation lab, video tutorial, and quizzes over the past weeks to help them better understand physics. Thanks to his commitment, several of his students have been able to access these materials online using their personal accounts.

While appreciating Teacher Habtamu for his commitment, we invite other teachers also to develop their digital skills and make the best of to support their teaching practice and improve their students' learning outcomes.

Aimed at supporting students by empowering the teachers first, we are launching soon a training course for teachers on how to teach using digital technologies. The training is designed for teachers and trainers in Ethiopia who are new to and covers everything from basic computer skills to advanced teaching strategies. Stay tuned for more.

Oftentimes, students have been forced to fit into an established and misaligned education system. A student has to travel, and this can be in tens of kilometers, to reach the school in order to learn. To the rescue of today's students, EdTech has become a promising game changer for the coming years both in redefining and transforming the misaligned education system.

Bithio didn't come out of the blue and jump in to solve a deteriorating education system. It had to fully understand the playground, and bring a solution that impacts lives and replicates easily.

Bithio believes education is the end and technology is the supportive tool, hence EdTech. Speaking of the playground: it fully recognizes the digital divide in developing nations is uneven, and as a result, many students do not have supportive learning environments. However, that won't edge Bithio away from running to realize its missions, in fact, it is determined to mitigate the uneven divide.

While all actors in the EdTech are playing their roles, Bithio itself is trying to support the disadvantaged groups by introducing better solutions that meet their needs while they're still less connected.

Not all investments run for immediate monetary benefits. Some do produce enlightened citizens in the long run, and with full confidence, Bithio aims to be one of them.
