A day of diplomacy, community, and giving. Little Einsteins Addis Early Learning Center was honored to be a part of the Diplomatic Charity Bazaar. It was a joy to share the spirit of our center, showcasing activities inspired by our engaging learning corners, from the creativity of our clay and art & crafts stations to the wonder of our our math exploration.

Dear Little Einsteins Addis Community,

We are delighted to share our fruitful past days with you. This past Thursday, our staff worked on an information-packed professional development training- covering curriculum details, a problemshooting and Q&A session, and much more. The next day, our team had an essential first aid training from the Nordic Medical Center, spanning a variety of life saving tactics and techniques.

Finally, we had a beautiful time bonding and reflecting together on a 2-day staff retreat over the weekend. We hope you enioy looking through our photo recap, and look forward to more productive and lively days ahead.

What a wonderful day it was! Thank you to everyone who joined us for a day of community, music, dance and cultural celebration.

The vibrant yellow adey abeba colored our campus, as our students gave a beautiful performance of one of Ethiopia’s most beloved songs. It was also a wonderful chance for families and teachers to socialize, and get more acquainted for the year ahead. Please enjoy this selection of pictures and enjoy your weekend!

Wow! What an epic evening we had... thank you so much to everyone who participated in this year’s annual art auction. It was a beautiful time, filled with laughter and sharing stories, admiring the children’s creative explorations, a little friendly bidding competition and so much more delight!

The art auction is a special moment for many reasons, but among them one of the most important ones is a chance to cherish our student’s creativity and hard work. It’s hard to imagine just how much innovation, persistence and dedication goes into each of these canvases and we’re so grateful for each of you who shared this moment to appreciate our hardworking artists.

Giving back is incredibly important to us, and it makes us proud that we can help uplift our community in more ways than one through this event. Please enjoy some of the art auction highlights!!

Hello LE Community! 🎉 What an incredible display of athleticism and teamwork we witnessed! Our amazing students put their months of hard work to the test in a super fun and friendly football match against ICS.

We're bursting with pride seeing their dedication pay off, and even more so by the fantastic sportsmanship and team spirit they showed every step of the way.

Dear LE Community,

What a wonderful day! We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who attended our second family day and the opening of our second compound; your presence made it truly special.

Without the support and love from all of you, none of this would be possible! As we reflect on a successful event and look into a bright future with not one but two LE compounds, we feel humbled and grateful, excited for new beginnings yet nostalgic for all the great memories we have shared so far.

Our family day/official opening was a vibrant, energetic day filled with social moments and a great opportunity for our students to share all wonderful projects they have been working so hard on.

It’s a proud moment for the Little Einsteins Addis community as our very own School Director Negede shares her story of becoming the educator we know and love in Millersville University’s publication. Negede has been pursuing her second masters at Millersville in Early Childhood Education, all while balancing the responsibilities here at LE. We hope you enjoy reading the article, and have a great weekend!

Negede Aligaz does many things: she’s an educator, a full-time student and a graduate assistant while she’s earning her master’s degree in early childhood education at the ‘Ville. She’s also the founder, director and part owner of Little Einsteins Addis Early Learning Center.

That’s a lot of work for any person. But things are a bit more complex for Aligaz: the center she founded and directs is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It’s a prestigious Highscope/Montessori-style school that often works with the families of visiting diplomats and government workers. Aligaz is doing it all while living and studying stateside working on not her first, but second master’s degree. She already holds a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature and a master’s degree in teaching English as a second language from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia, along with her bachelor’s degree from MU.
