Strengthening Global Research Ties
Adama Hospital Medical College(AHMC) is honored to host Dr.Mohammed Sanni Ali, a Global Researcher from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and also Excutive Director of vibraniun Resources Foundation, who delivered a highly productive presentation on International Research Collaborations.
Dr.Mohammed Sanni Ali is a dedicated biostatistician and epidemiologist with extensive expertise in conducting clinical trials and evaluating health interventions in Sub-Saharan Africa, with vast experience that encompasses the design, implementation, and assessment of complex health strategies.
During collabrative Research meeting, Dr.Abdinasir Wako, (MD and Assistant Professor), Acadmic & Research Vice Provost of AHMC presented overview of the AHMC’s expreince and activities regarding the collabrative researches and International Collabration.
The session sparked insightful discussions with our college Researchers and academic staff, highlighting opportunities for joint projects, knowledge exchange, and impactful partnerships across borders.
Dr,Sintayehu Tekle, Provost of AHMC thanked the guest for his inpiring and insightful presentation. Dr.sintayehu also noted need of strengthening international research collaborations and global research ties to advance science and research in our Country. He Commended encouraging effort by Dr.Abdinasir Wako and his office, for initiating such impactful International collabrative research activities and finaly thanked researchesr and Academic staffs of AHMC for their active engagement.
Together we can build bridges that advance science, education, and global health.

Adama Hospital Medical College (AHMC) Successful conducted training on Research Ethics and Scientific Integrity for Members Institutional Ethical Review (IRB) and Researchers of Adama Hospital Medical College in collaboration with Ministry of Education.
The Training aims to strengthen Institutional capacity in Upholding the highest ethical standards in research, Promoting transparency, accountability, and respect for knowledge from prospective of Ethiopian National Research policy and standards.
In his opening remark, Dr. Abdinasir Wako (MD & Assistant Prof), Academic and Research Vice Provost of AHMC, welcomed participants and emphasized the importance of the training in building highest ethical standards in research and strengthening a culture of Scientific integrity and inspires innovation among the researchers of AHMC based Ethiopian National Research policy and standards.
Dr.Serawit Handiso(PhD), CEO, Research and Community Engagement Affairs, FDRE Ministry of Education, Present short Overview of Scientific Integrity,visibility and granting practices in Higher Education of Ethiopia. In his discussions with trainig participants, he expressed his appreciation for Human Resources Composition of researchers at AHMC and thier expriences. He also commended the efforts being done by AHMc’s administrarion to register and accreditate the college as one of the Research Organization in Ethiopia including registration of IRERC.

The training on Evolution of Bioethics and fundamentals of Research Ethics was also given by Dr.Abulie Takele(MPH,PhD), Desk Head for Research Ethics, Ministry of Education(MoE).
On second day, the training on different topics including, National Research Ethics Guidelines, SOP Development for REC Operations and Requirement for Registration of IRERC was given by Mr.Andualem Ayele, Research Ethics Expert at MoE.

In his closing remark, Dr.Abdinasir Wako, Academic & Research V/Provost of AHMC, Highlights the importance of this kind of workshop in training researchers and equipping them with the essential skills to make AHMC a strong and competitive research organization with highest ethical standards in research.
Dr.Abdinasir Wako, finally thanked the Guest trainers and ensured the continuation of this kind of collaborative initiative with Ministry of Education(MoE) and expressed AHMC’s strong commitment to empowering its researchers, promoting multi-Institution collaboration, and enhancing the institution’s research competitiveness at both national and international level.

የአዳማ ሆስፒታል ሜዲካል ኮሌጅ ከ56 ወረዳዎች ጋር ውል በመግባት ጥራት ያለው የህክምና አገልግሎት እያቀረበ መሆኑን ገለጸ

የአዳማ ሆስፒታል ሜዲካል ኮሌጅ (Adama Hospital Medical College) በዙሪያው ካሉ 56 ወረዳዎች ጋር የሁለትዮሽ ስምምነት በመፈጸም፣ ለማህበረሰብ አቀፍ የጤና መድኅን (CBHI) ተጠቃሚዎች ጥራት ያለውና ቀልጣፋ የህክምና አገልግሎት እየሰጠ እንደሚገኝ አስታወቀ።
እንደ ስራ አስኪያጁ ዶ/ር ስንታየሁ ተክሌ ገለጻ ሆስፒታሉ ያለበትን ወቅታዊ ቁመናና ለህብረተሰቡ እያበረከተ ያለውን ዘርፈ ብዙ አገልግሎት አብራርተዋል። ተቋሙ በአሁኑ ወቅት በከፍተኛ የትምህርት ዝግጅትና በልምድ የበለጸጉ 110 የሚሆኑ ስፔሻሊስት እና ሰብስፔሻሊቲ ሐኪሞችን በማሰማራት የላቀ የህክምና አገልግሎት እየሰጠ ይገኛል።
ሆስፒታሉ በክልሉ ካሉ ግዙፍ የጤና ተቋማት አንዱ እንደመሆኑ መጠን፣ በየዓመቱ እጅግ ከፍተኛ ቁጥር ያላቸውን የህብረተሰብ ክፍሎች ያስተናግዳል። ዶክተር ስንታዬሁ እንዳመለከቱት በዓመት ከ330 ሺህ በላይ ለሚሆኑ ታካሚዎች የተመላላሽ ህክምና አገልግሎት ይሰጣል፤ ከ 22 ሺህ በላይ ታካሚዎችን ተኝተው እንዲታከሙ ያደርጋል፤ ከ10 ሺህ በላይ እናቶችን ደህንነቱ የተጠበቀ የወሊድ አገልግሎት ተጠቃሚ ያደርጋል ብለዋል ።
በአሁኑ ወቅት የሆስፒታሉ ደንበኞች ከ50 በመቶ በላይ የሚሆኑት የማህበረሰብ ዓቀፍ ጤና መድኅን ስርዓት ተጠቃሚዎች መሆናቸውን ዶክተር ስንታዬሁ ገልጸዋል። "ዜጎች በዓመት ጥቂት ብር በመክፈል ራሳቸውንና መላው የቤተሰባቸውን አባላት ዓመቱን ሙሉ ከህክምና ወጪ ስጋት ነፃ አድርገዋል" ያሉት ስራ አስኪያጁ፣ ይህም ኢትዮጵያ በዓለም ጤና ድርጅት የተቀመጠውን የጤና ሽፋን መስፈርት እንድታሳካ ትልቅ ድርሻ እያበረከተ መሆኑን ጠቁመዋል።
የታካሚዎችን እርካታ ለመጨመር ተገልጋዮች እንግልት ሳይገጥማቸው በአንድ ቦታ አገልግሎት የሚያገኙበት አሰራር እንደተዘረጋ፤ አሰራር ዘመናዊና ፈጣን ለማድረግ የመረጃ አያያዝ ስርዓቱ በቴክኖሎጂ እንዲታገዝ እና የህክምና መሳሪያዎችን ከማሟላት ባለፈ፣ የመድኃኒት አቅርቦት ከዕለት ወደ ዕለት እንዲሻሻል በትኩረት እየተሰራ እንደሚገኝ ደ/ር ስንታዬሁ ጠቁመዋል።
በመጨረሻም የህክምና አገልግሎቱ ሳይስተጓጎልና ጥራቱን ጠብቆ እንዲቀጥል፣ የሚመለከታቸው ወረዳዎች በገቡት ውል መሰረት ያለባቸውን ክፍያ በወቅቱ እንዲፈጽሙ የሆስፒታሉ ስራ አስኪያጅ ዶ/ር ስንታየሁ ተክሌ ጥሪያቸውን አስተላልፈዋል።"Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/-HealthInsurance
