As the NERDVET Project approaches its end, we celebrated our achievements and results by presenting them to trainers, families, and ICT stakeholders and institutions during the "Digiday" event held in Bergamo, Italy.

Media literacy, critical thinking and students: tomorrow the DigiDay will take place at the ENAIP NET headquarters in Bergamo (Italy)! 🤩💻

The event, with the NERDVET project at the heart of the initiatives presented, will be completely dedicated to digital skills for today's young people --> citizens and professionals of the future! 🌍
Some important certifications and other projects will be presented too, aimed at students entering the IT and digital sector.

Critical thinking is an important skill for professionals to possess to be successful in their field.

This explains why vocational education should include critical thinking skills to help students develop the ability to think critically and make informed decisions and acquire abilities such as problem-solving activities, case studies, and simulations.

By teaching critical thinking skills, professional trainers who took part in our NERDVET project helped trainees become more effective problem-solvers and better prepared for the challenges of their chosen profession.

The event is called "DigiDay. Formare i giovani oggi per sviluppare le competenze digitali dei professionisti e dei cittadini del futuro” and it is promoted by ENAIP Bergamo together with the Province of Bergamo to present new educational resources for the students of today, citizens of tomorrow. 🌍

The Erasmus+ project NERDVET will play a leading role with its important results including didactic tools and resources for media literacy and critical thinking on the web for students! 🤓💻

⏰🤝 to Nerdvet's ME in Spain, which was celebrated during the 31st of March in the Palacio de Congresos Europa, and which involved stakeholders and project managers from all the region. 🧠
👥CSV presented the results of the project, with an special focus on the piloting activity and the further implications for the Spanish VET that this project may imply. 👣

Today took place the webinar of national dissemination of the NERDVET project in Portugal
The webinar was attended by the team that worked on the project and two other guests: Dr. João Lourenço, as Coordinator of the CNQF of IEFP and Dr. Maria Emília Brederode Santos, Researcher and President of the National Education Council (2017-2022).
This webinar was attended by 205 people

✅On Tuesday 4 April, Europe Direct Central Macedonia, Perrotis College, the American Farm School, and the Department of Library, Archives and Information Systems of the International Hellenic University, organized the final national Nerdvet event at the Cisco International Centre for Digital and Transformation and Digital Skills in Thessaloniki.

✅The event was held with the support of the Hellenic Association of Librarians & Information Scientists, the University of Nicosia, the Peace Journalism Laboratories (PJL), and the Cyprus Association of Librarians & Information Scientists.

✅Attendees had the opportunity to attend the Digital Masterclass which highlighted the importance of digital skills and literacy, focusing on the role of teachers and librarians.
