Participants explored how former mining areas in the province of León are being transformed through ecotourism and sustainable initiatives, contributing to the shift from fossil fuels to cleaner and renewable energy sources.
🌱 With **Biosfera Aventura**, and David Rojo, participants observed innovative ecotourism practices and sustainable outdoor activities.
🏞️ At the **Interpretation Centre for the Omaña and Luna Valleys Biosphere Reserve**, thanks its guide Puli, participants gained deeper insights into biodiversity conservation and environmental education.
🍺 A visit to a **craft brewery located in a former coal mine** showcased a powerful example of economic transformation linked to the energy transition.
🐻 The day concluded with a memorable **wildlife watching activity**, where participants had the opportunity to observe brown bears in the Cantabrian Mountains—an unforgettable experience connecting tourism with conservation.
