RETREAT CENTRE & CERTIFIED ECOLOGICAL FARM FOR SELL IN NORTH TENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS.
After spending 12 years in Tenerife in order to establish a retreat centre for meditation and performing arts, we are now ready to sell this much loved property in order to move away from a managing role and dedicate ourselves to writing. We would like to pass it on to a group of people who wish to take care of the earth with mindfulness. It would certainly be an ideal place for establishing an Eco community project.
The property is a stunning piece of land of 13000 square metres spread across 8 terraces, at 850 metres of altitude. This area is located in El Teide national park, away from the busy touristic zone. It has access to public transport and the closest town is La Orotava.
It has been a certified organic farm for 10 years with around 200 fruit trees (citruses, apples, pears, plums, avocados, chestnuts, nuts and more) and a vegetable garden.
In terms of building you can find:
- The main house with two levels, a dance / Yoga studio (72m2) and an ensuite therapy room.
- A wooden chalet (Finnish log cabin) with its own private garden
- Two accommodation blocks which cumulate a total of 6 studios for two to four persons and a laundry room. There is also an additional studio for one, which is independent. Each studio has its own terrace.
- Two sun terraces, one of which has its own awning.
There is also a camping area with an outdoor barbecue, tables and benches, a small building with toilet, sink and shower.
On the last level, there is a dome (Ø: 6m) covered with lava stones and decorated with a spiral floor, ideal for meditation.
There are various dependences that need renovating and that have the potential to create more living space.
There are two large grounds that have been used for horse riding in the past.
