Nos enorgullece anunciar la puesta en marcha de la Alianza para la Excelencia en la Formación Profesional Culinaria, una nueva red público-privada que conecta a profesionales culinarios, centros de formación profesional, docentes y oficinas de empleo de toda Ucrania y Europa.

Coordinada por la ECTE - European Department (Grecia), la Alianza trabajará conjuntamente para:
✅ Actualizar los programas de formación culinaria para adaptarlos a las necesidades reales del mercado
✅ Definir qué caracteriza a un excelente profesor o formador de formación profesional culinaria
✅ Establecer colaboraciones para ofrecer programas de formación en prácticas y oportunidades de empleo

Nuestros equipos se están poniendo en contacto activamente con las partes interesadas —chefs, centros de formación, empresas y educadores— para hacer crecer esta red y dar forma al futuro de la educación culinaria en Ucrania.

🌿 Building sustainable partnerships for the future.

As part of the EcoArt Festival Valladolid 2026, INFODEF met with VET providers to present the EXTOR project, share its results and explore future cooperation for experiential tourism and sustainable rural development.

🌿 EXTOR Local Fair in Valladolid: building the future of experiential rural tourism

More than 50 participants joined the Spanish EXTOR Local Fair organised by INFODEF in collaboration with La Bien Pagá Espacio Escénico.

The event brought together VET providers, tourism professionals, entrepreneurs, public authorities and local stakeholders to explore how experiential tourism can foster sustainable rural development, innovation and new opportunities for local communities.

One of the most inspiring outcomes was the identification of Casaseca de Campeán (Zamora) as a real community interested in applying the EXTOR methodology to combat rural depopulation through heritage, storytelling and community-led tourism.

🇪🇺 Together, we continue creating innovative solutions for stronger and more resilient rural areas.

⚙️🏭 The manufacturing sector needs new skills for automation, digitalisation and green transition.

The European Commission highlights upskilling and reskilling as essential for European industry.

SoftSkills4Mfg responds to this need with training focused on communication, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability and digital literacy. 🚀

Skills for industry Disruptive technological change and the green transition are changing the face of industry on a global scale. The Covid-19 crisis has exacerbated these trends. With this in mind, we’re working to increase the pool of EU talent, helping people acquire new technology-based skills.

🔬⚙️ Electric mobility needs strong STEM skills: science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The European Commission’s STEM Education Strategic Plan aims to strengthen STEM education and encourage more learners, including girls and women, to enter STEM studies and careers.

The EV sector offers a concrete example of why STEM matters: batteries, electronics, diagnostics, safety systems and digital tools are now part of everyday automotive work.

Elec_vehicle supports this change by bringing EV knowledge closer to VET professionals and learners.

STEM education and training A strong focus on future-proof skills in strategic sectors is essential to sustain EU competitiveness, preparedness, and technological leadership. Education plays a key role in supporting, developing and attracting the talent that the EU needs.

🔋 Batteries are at the heart of the electric vehicle transition.

The EU is strengthening rules on batteries, recycling efficiency and sustainability. This means the automotive sector needs professionals who understand not only vehicles, but also safety, circularity and responsible use of resources.

Elec_vehicle supports this shift by helping automotive trainers and professionals build updated competences for the EV sector.

♻️ A sustainable battery value chain needs informed, skilled and safety-conscious workers.

Batteries Ensuring that batteries placed on the EU market are safe and sustainable throughout their whole life cycle.

🌱 Europe’s climate goals are changing the automotive sector.

Reducing emissions from cars and vans requires new technologies, new infrastructure and new professional skills.

For VET centres and workshops, the message is clear: electric vehicle training must become part of the present, not only the future.

Through curricula, MOOC resources and VR-based practical learning, Elec_vehicle helps prepare professionals for safer and more effective work with electric vehicles.

The European Commission’s LifeComp framework highlights personal, social and learning-to-learn competences that help people adapt, collaborate and keep learning.
