🌍💚 En BSV hemos celebrado el Día Mundial del Medio Ambiente con actividades para alumnos de Infantil a Secundaria, junto a familias invitadas y ponentes vinculados a organizaciones como UNICEF. Charlas, asambleas, plantación de semillas y otras iniciativas nos han ayudado a reflexionar sobre la importancia de cuidar nuestro planeta. Porque educar en sostenibilidad hoy es formar a los ciudadanos responsables del mañana 🌱♻️

🌍💚 At BSV, we celebrated World Environment Day with activities for students from Early Years to Secondary, alongside invited families and guest speakers connected to organisations such as UNICEF. Talks, assemblies, seed planting and other initiatives encouraged us to reflect on the importance of caring for our planet. Because educating for sustainability today means shaping the responsible citizens of tomorrow 🌱♻️

Nuestros alumnos han obtenido certificaciones oficiales de música de dos prestigiosos organismos internacionales: RSL Awards (Rockschool) en canto y The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) en piano y guitarra. 💻🚀 Nuestros Líderes Digitales de Primaria han recibido la visita de Funbrain para descubrir el apasionante mundo de la supercomputación. A través de una charla dinámica, actividades en grupo y un turno de preguntas, aprendieron qué es un superordenador y cómo se utiliza para resolver grandes desafíos científicos y tecnológicos. Además, conocieron el MareNostrum 5, uno de los superordenadores más potentes de Europa, situado en Barcelona. Este tipo de experiencias acercan la tecnología a nuestros alumnos, despiertan su curiosidad y les ayudan a desarrollar nuevas habilidades para el futuro.

💻🚀 Our Primary Digital Leads welcomed a visit from Funbrain to discover the fascinating world of supercomputing. Through an engaging talk, group activities and a Q&A session, they learned what a supercomputer is and how it is used to tackle major scientific and technological challenges. They also discovered MareNostrum 5, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe, located in Barcelona. These kinds of experiences bring technology closer to our students, spark their curiosity and help them develop new skills for the future.

En BSV creemos que la educación va más allá del aula y por ello contamos con la colaboración de la Policía Local de Valencia 👮🚓👮‍♀, que ha impartido sesiones formativas adaptadas a nuestros alumnos de Year 8, Year 9 y Year 10 sobre identidad digital, primeros auxilios y desastres naturales. Estas iniciativas aportan conocimientos prácticos y habilidades esenciales para la vida, ayudando a nuestros estudiantes a desenvolverse con responsabilidad, seguridad y confianza en diferentes situaciones. Agradecemos a la Policía Local de Valencia su compromiso con la educación y el bienestar de nuestros jóvenes.

At BSV, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. This is why we were pleased to welcome the Valencia Local Police 👮🚓👮‍♀, who delivered tailored sessions for our Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 students on digital identity, first aid and natural disasters. These initiatives provide valuable practical knowledge and essential life skills, helping students develop the confidence, responsibility and awareness needed to navigate a wide range of real-life situations. We are grateful to the Valencia Local Police for their commitment to supporting the education and wellbeing of our young people.

🌿✨ Nuestro equipo de Eco-Rangers de Primaria ha visitado el Parque Central para llevar a cabo su propia investigación sobre las plantas y el entorno natural. Durante la salida, han observado distintas especies vegetales, tomado notas y aprendido a identificar elementos clave del ecosistema urbano. Una experiencia práctica que les ha permitido conectar el aprendizaje del aula con el mundo real, desarrollando su curiosidad científica y su compromiso con el cuidado del medioambiente 🌱🔍. ¡Seguimos creciendo como guardianes de la naturaleza! 💚

🌿✨ Our Primary Eco-Rangers team visited the Parque Central to carry out their own research into plants and the natural environment. During the trip, they observed a variety of plant species, took notes, and learnt how to identify key features of the urban ecosystem. It was a hands-on experience that allowed them to connect classroom learning with the real world, whilst developing their scientific curiosity and commitment to caring for the environment 🌱🔍. We continue growing as true guardians of nature! 💚

¡Arrr! ☠️🏴‍☠️. Nuestros alumnos de Year 1 han vivido una auténtica aventura pirata. Durante el día, vinieron al colegio disfrazados y participaron en divertidas actividades, incluyendo una emocionante búsqueda del tesoro por el patio 🗺️✨. Además, recibieron una visita muy especial, uno de los papás de la clase que es ilustrador y compartió su talento con los niños enseñándoles a dibujar a un auténtico pirata 🎨👨‍🎨. ¡Un día lleno de imaginación, creatividad y muchísima diversión que no olvidarán! ⚓💙

Arrr! ☠️🏴‍☠️ Our Year 1 students enjoyed a real pirate adventure. During the day, they came to school dressed up and took part in fun activities, including an exciting treasure hunt around the playground 🗺️✨. They also received a very special visit from one of the class dads, who is an illustrator and shared his talent with the children by teaching them how to draw a real pirate 🎨👨‍🎨. A day full of imagination, creativity and lots of fun that they will never forget! ⚓💙

Nuestros alumnos de Year 6 han combinado ciencia y creatividad a través de su proyecto de marionetas de sombras. Después de diseñar y construir sus propios teatros de sombras, los niños experimentaron con la luz y las sombras para dar vida a sus historias mediante pequeñas representaciones teatrales. Una actividad fantástica que unió imaginación, creatividad y aprendizaje práctico ✨🎭

Our Year 6 students have been combining science and creativity through their shadow puppets project. After designing and building their own shadow theatres, the children experimented with light and shade to bring their stories to life through small theatrical performances. A wonderful activity that combined imagination, creativity and hands-on learning ✨🎭
