🦷🙏🌴🇵🇪 VOLUNTEERING WITH UCV 😷🪥💙✈️

Over Easter, a couple of amazing students made the incredibly long journey to Requena, Peru to volunteer in the dental healthcare environment! Each day started with 20 minutes of reflection and prayer before treating 15–18 patients, providing fillings, extractions, and hygiene care to a community that truly needed it.

With limited resources, every moment required adaptability, quick thinking, and real clinical judgment—sometimes even deciding, with the support and guidance of the University team, whether to save or extract a tooth. It was raw, challenging, and incredibly real.

This journey wasn’t just about dentistry—it was about giving back, growing in skill and confidence, and reconnecting with the reason it all started in the first place.
