Join us in a "SIX MONTHS" Online Training Course in the art of Krabi Krabong. Starting from FEBRUARY until JULY 2021. This course covers all the material to complete all the basics. The training material will be nicely distributed in 6 months so students can practice week by week. Every video will be posted on the private group on Facebook so students can watch it at their convenience.

In February: Module 1 Attacks/Defenses.
In March: Module 2 Attacks/Defenses.
In April: Module 3 Attacks/Defenses.
In May: Module 4 Attacks/Defenses.
In June: Eight Cutting Codes
In July: Four Fighting Combinations.
*A part of the Wai Kru will be included every month

La espada doble es una de las armas más refinadas de todo el sistema krabi krabong.
Cuando se usa en el combate, produce un estilo de lucha efectivo, peligroso, rápido e imprevisible. La espada doble puede enfrentar cualquier otra arma sin muchas desventajas.
La limitación más grande es la dificultad para aprender cómo usar la espada doble correctamente. Se necesita mucha coordinación, habilidad y tiempo para aprender la destreza de la espada doble.…

Mientras muchos shows en Tailandia demuestran la potencia y la velocidad con la espada doble, su uso correcto no se basa en estos principios. Es un error creer que un buen guerrero es un guerrero agresivo. Un buen guerrero es un guerrero inteligente y no una persona fuera de control que mueva la espada como loco. Ajarn Sodprasert me explicó como los guerreros fueron entrenados con la espada como un arte mortal, tratando siempre de cortar arterias y articulaciones con pequeños movimientos. Por lo tanto, aunque la velocidad y la potencia tengan su lugar, los principios más importantes para usar la espada doble son técnica, conciencia y exactitud apropiadas.

The double sword is one of the most refined weapon in the entire krabi krabong system.
When used in combat, it produces an effective, dangerous, fast and unpredictable fighting style. The double sword can match any other weapon without many disadvantages.
The biggest limitation is the difficulty in learning how to use the double sword properly. It takes a lot of coordination, ability and time to learn the double sword….
…the effectiveness will depend mainly on the timing (synchronization of actions with the opponent's attack) and the kind of techniques executed.
While many shows in Thailand display power and speed with the double sword, their correct use is not based on these principles. It is a mistake to believe that a good warrior is an aggressive warrior. A good warrior is a smart warrior and not a person out of control who swings the sword like crazy. Ajarn Sodprasert explained to me how warriors were trained with the sword as a deadly art,looking always to cut arteries and joints with small movements. Therefore, though speed and power have their place, the most important principles for using the double sword are proper technique, awarness, and accuracy.

Estos dias Facebook me ha recordado que ya ha pasado un año de mi ultimo viaje a Tailandia. Como siempre que voy alli, pude vivir momentos inolvidables con mi querido maestro Kru Pedro Solana y con Kru Kung, maestro de Kru Pedro.... formacion a cargo de grandes maestros y entrenamiento continuo son la clave del progreso.

These days Facebook has reminded me that a year has passed since my last trip to Thailand. As always when I go there, I was able to live unforgettable moments with my beloved teacher Kru Pedro Solana and with Kru Kung, teacher of Kru Pedro .... training by great teachers and continuous training are the key to progress.
