🌍 Durante esta semana hemos recibido en la UCV a más de 20 profesionales de universidades de distintos países con motivo de la UCV International Staff Week: An Inclusive World, Equity and Belonging. 🤝🌎

💬 Ha sido un espacio para compartir experiencias, intercambiar buenas prácticas y reflexionar sobre cómo construir entornos universitarios donde todas las personas se sientan incluidas y puedan aprender, crecer y trabajar formando parte de la comunidad.

🎓 A través de conferencias, talleres y sesiones colaborativas, los participantes han abordado temas como la inclusión, la neurodiversidad, las políticas inclusivas o la internacionalización en casa, demostrando que el aprendizaje también nace del diálogo entre universidades. ♿🤝 🧠

🙏 Gracias a todas las personas y universidades participantes por hacer posible esta edición. 💚

🌍 This week, we have welcomed more than 20 professionals from universities across various countries to the UCV for the UCV International Staff Week: An Inclusive World, Equity and Belonging. 🤝🌎

💬 It has been a space to share experiences, exchange best practice, and reflect on how to build university environments where everyone feels included and can learn, grow, and work as part of the community.

🎓 Through lectures, workshops, and collaborative sessions, participants have addressed topics such as inclusion, neurodiversity, inclusive policies, and internationalisation at home, demonstrating that learning also stems from dialogue between universities. ♿🤝 🧠

🙏 Thank you to all the individuals and universities that took part for making this edition possible. 💚

✨🇦🇷 De una pequeña ciudad argentina a Valencia de Erasmus 🇪🇸✨

Cuando Marianela vio la convocatoria para una beca Erasmus+, pensó que era una oportunidad casi imposible. Nunca había viajado al extranjero y ni siquiera tenía pasaporte. 🎓✈️

Pero decidió intentarlo. Y esa decisión lo cambió todo. Meses después, estaba estudiando en la UCV. 💙📚

Estudiante de Comunicación en y apasionada por la moda desde pequeña 👗✨, aprovechó su estancia para descubrir nuevas disciplinas en el grado de Multimedia y Arte Digital 🎨💻, conocer otras formas de pensar y salir de su zona de confort 🚀.

💬 "En la UCV organizan los llamados grupos de familia, integrados por estudiantes locales y Erasmus de muchos países. Gracias a esto, te vas haciendo un montón de grupos de pertenencia, con una mezcla cultural bárbara y muchas miradas diferentes". 🤝🌎

Una experiencia que empezó con una solicitud de beca y terminó ampliando su mundo para siempre. Hoy, de vuelta en Argentina, tiene más claro que nunca que atreverse a dar el paso valió la pena. 💙✨

✨🇦🇷 From a small Argentine town to Valencia on Erasmus 🇪🇸✨

When Marianela saw the call for Erasmus+ scholarships, she thought it was an opportunity that was almost out of reach. She had never travelled abroad and didn't even have a passport. 🎓✈️

But she decided to give it a try. And that decision changed everything.A few months later, she was studying at UCV. 💙📚

A Communication student at and passionate about fashion since childhood 👗✨, she made the most of her time abroad by exploring new disciplines within the Multimedia and Digital Arts degree 🎨💻, discovering different ways of thinking, and stepping outside her comfort zone 🚀.

💬 "At UCV, they organise what they call 'family groups', made up of local and Erasmus students from many different countries. Thanks to this, you become part of lots of different communities, with an incredible cultural mix and a wide range of perspectives." 🤝🌎

Today, back in Argentina, she is more convinced than ever that taking that leap was worth it. 💙✨

🌍 Intervención socioeducativa y desarrollo rural a través de un COIL

La y la (Chile) han llevado a cabo un COIL que conecta dos realidades rurales a través de la intervención socioeducativa 🤝

👩‍🏫 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 Bajo la coordinación de los profesores Marcelo Viera Abelleira y Manuel Tarín Cayuela (UCV), junto con Marcelo Pinochet Ayala (UCM), estudiantes de Educación Social y Trabajo Social han trabajado en equipos internacionales para comparar contextos rurales de España y Chile analizando problemáticas y recursos comunitarios, comparando realidades territoriales y diseñado propuestas de intervención socioeducativa.

🌐 Porque la educación social también se construye sin fronteras.

🌍 Socio-Educational Intervention and Rural Development through a COIL

and (Chile) have carried out a COIL project connecting two rural realities through socio-educational intervention 🤝

👩‍🏫👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 Under the coordination of lecturers Marcelo Viera Abelleira and Manuel Tarín Cayuela (UCV), together with Marcelo Pinochet Ayala (UCM), Social Education and Social Work students worked in international teams to compare rural contexts in Spain and Chile. They analysed community challenges and resources, compared territorial realities, and designed socio-educational intervention proposals.

🌐 Because social education is also built beyond borders.

🌍 De las aulas de Derecho de la UCV a una simulación internacional en Nueva York 🎓✈️

Siete alumnos del Grado en Derecho de la —cuatro de la UCV y tres estudiantes Erasmus— han participado en el National Model United Nations (NMUN) 2026, una de las simulaciones universitarias de la Naciones Unidas más prestigiosas del mundo. 🌐🏛️

🗣️ Durante la conferencia, el equipo UCV representó a Andorra, asumiendo el papel diplomático del país en los distintos comités internacionales. A través de debates, negociaciones, discursos oficiales y redacción de resoluciones, nuestros estudiantes reprodujeron el funcionamiento real de la ONU en un entorno académico de máximo nivel. 🤝🎯

Además, completaron su estancia con visitas a la sede de la nacionesunidas, , la Misión Permanente de España ante la ONU, la Embajada de Andorra y el despacho de abogados de Garrigues. ⚖️🏙️

🌍 From the Law classrooms of UCV to an international simulation in New York 🎓✈️

Seven Law students from —four from UCV and three Erasmus students— took part in the National Model United Nations (NMUN) 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious university simulations of the United Nations 🌐🏛️

🗣️ During the conference, the UCV team represented Andorra, taking on the country’s diplomatic role across different international committees. Through debates, negotiations, formal speeches and the drafting of resolutions, our students replicated the real functioning of the UN in a highly advanced academic environment 🤝🎯

In addition, they complemented their stay with visits to the United Nations Headquarters nacionesunidas, , the Permanent Mission of Spain to the UN, the Embassy of Andorra, and the law firm Garrigues ⚖️🏙️

🌍 Una semana internacional en ADE 🎓

La semana pasada tuvimos la suerte de compartir aulas, talleres y muchas conversaciones con estudiantes de Bucarest (Rumanía) y profesorado internacional. 🚀

👩‍🏫 La iniciativa estuvo liderada por Andreea Apetrei, coordinadora internacional de ADE de la UCV, reuniendo a alumnado y docentes en una experiencia de aprendizaje e intercambio internacional 🤝

Durante esos días, alumnado de distintos cursos de la UCV trabajaron junto a estudiantes internacionales en actividades sobre sostenibilidad e intercambiando ideas ♻️💭. Se llevaron a cabo:

🏫 Presentaciones de universidades
💡 Talleres prácticos
📚 Clases impartidas por profesorado invitado, en español e inglés
🤝 Y nuevas colaboraciones internacionales que ya empiezan a tomar forma

De esta experiencia nacerán nuevos proyectos COIL y Erasmus+ con universidades de Francia 🇫🇷 y Alemania 🇩🇪. ¡Emocionante! 🎉✨

🌍 An international week in Business Administration (ADE) 🎓

Last week, we had the opportunity to share classrooms, workshops, and many conversations with students from Bucharest (Romania) and international teaching staff 🚀

👩‍🏫 The initiative was led by Andreea Apetrei, International Coordinator of ADE at the UCV, bringing together students and academic staff in a truly international learning and exchange experience 🤝

During those days, students from different year groups at the UCV worked alongside international students on sustainability-focused activities and exchanged ideas ♻️💭. The programme included:

🏫 University presentations
💡 Practical workshops
📚 Lectures delivered by guest lecturers, in both Spanish and English
🤝 New international collaborations that are already starting to take shape

From this experience, new COIL and Erasmus+ projects will emerge with universities in France 🇫🇷 and Germany 🇩🇪. Exciting times ahead! 🎉✨

🤔Pero… ¿qué es un COIL?
Es una experiencia de aprendizaje en la que trabajas en equipo con estudiantes de otros países dentro de una asignatura de tu grado. Todo online, sin salir del aula 💡

¿Y qué te aporta?

🌍 Conectar y trabajar con estudiantes de otros países
💡 Descubrir cómo se aprende y se enseña en universidades de todo el mundo

Y todo esto será posible gracias a que 24 profesores de la UCV se han formado y colaborado con docentes de universidades de todo el mundo para crear estos proyectos 🤝

🤔 But… what is a COIL?
It’s a learning experience where you work as part of a team with students from other countries within one of your degree modules. Completely online, without leaving the classroom 💡

What will you gain from it?

💡 Discover how learning and teaching take place at universities around the world

And all of this will be possible thanks to 24 UCV lecturers who have trained and collaborated with academics from universities worldwide to create these projects 🤝
