Dickens School Terrassa

Dear students and parents,

With saddened hearts we are closing the doors of Dickens School, after 35 years of trying our best to make learning English FUN!

I read this the other day and it practically sums up these 35 years.

It's a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together! To me, if you LOVE your work, if you truly enjoy it, you're already a success. You feel energized by purpose and that allows you to drive through any challenges along the way.​​

After ALL these years, ALL the teachers agree that the best things we are packing away with us, are the beautiful memories the students have filled our hearts with and the faith, hope and trust that you, as parents, have entrusted upon us. We hope that all our students will have lots of happy memories to treasure over the years.

Goodbyes are not forever,
Goodbyes are not the end,
They simply mean I'll miss you,
Until we meet again!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for EVERYTHING!

Estimats alumnes i families,

amb el cor trist tanquem les portes del Dickens School després de 35 anys intentant donar el millor de nosaltres per fer aprende anglès d'una manera divertida.

L'altre dia vaig llegir aquesta frase i pràcticament resumeix aquests 35 anys:

És molt bonic quan la teva carrera i la teva passió s'uneixen! Per mi, si estimes la teva feina, si de veritat la gaudeixes, ja has aconseguit l'èxit! Això, et dona l'energia que et permet superar qualsevol repte que et trobes pel camí.

Després de TOTS aquests anys, TOTES mestres estem d'acord que les millors coses que ens emportem amb nosaltres són els bons records amb els que els estudiants ens han omplert el cor. I amb la fe, l'esperança i la confiança que vosaltres com a families, ens heu confiat.

Esperem que tots els nostres alumnes tinguin bons records a guardar com a tresors al llarg dels anys.
