Claudio Abbado - The Berliner Philharmoniker's Digital Concert Hall 22/01/2014

"With these videos, not only are outstanding concerts of the Berliner Philharmoniker made available, but the development of the orchestra in this time can also be followed. In addition to its rapid rejuvenation, the transformation of the orchestra’s sound is particularly notable. Not least due to the cooperative environment initiated by Abbado, it resulted in a new culture of listening to each other, which was reflected in a growing, almost chamber music-like transparency – an inheritance that the Berliner Philharmoniker still benefit from today."

Stefano Ragusini has conducted today "Part, parto" from Mozart's La clemenza di Tito at the Egara Forum Musicae - summer music academy. Another well-known conducting student to the Filharmònica de Cambra de Catalunya.

BIO:
He was born in Pordenone on June 21, 1983. The contact with the music is at the age of twelve through the piano studies, brilliantly concluded at the Conservatory of Trieste in 2005. The studies of musicology are conducted in the same years at the University of Udine. As solo pianist he counted in a few years many concerts in Italy and abroad, receiving excellent response from the audience.
However, the interest migrates to orchestra and conducting. He is currently studying conducting at the Vienna Conservatory with Maestro Georg Mark.
As a conductor he counts already several opera productions: Aida, Elisir d'amore, Servant Mistress, Così fan tutte.
Near the symphonic and operatic traditional repertoire is to mention the interest in baroque music, for which he conducted several concerts from the harpsichord; same interest is in choral and contemporary music.
