There is something magical about being respected for what you do and being trusted. When someone sees beyond the surface, looks into your eyes from the depths of their heart, and knows that you are doing your very best. That you are fully committed to the process.
It is something intangible that gradually takes shape over the years until, one day, almost without noticing, it naturally contributes far more than anyone could have imagined.
When a family understands the vision of the school where their child is growing and developing as a person, and opens their arms to participate and collaborate in enriching the project—while respecting its boundaries, understanding its needs, and sharing their own experience—the original purpose is suddenly multiplied.
That is Ruth, and so many of the families reading this post. She has known us since her son first started at our school and is now in secondary education. Watching him grow has been one of the clearest examples of how families and schools can walk hand in hand in supporting a child’s journey.
Today, respect for the work of educators is gradually being lost. The demand for immediate results often leaves little room for deep understanding, and the learning process can seem slower than the expectations focused solely on outcomes.
Together with Ruth, we have been able to create the Theatre School at Valencia Montessori School. Thank you for giving teenagers the tools to continue discovering their true worth—the value that already exists within them.
Thank you to all the guides who made this possible, and to all the families who supported it.
This project, and many others, were born from the humility of contributing without expecting anything in return. And in doing so, they create bonds that last a lifetime.
