The Hi Ken Club was born out of a love for walking in the mountains of Northern Spain and learning English and Spanish whilst doing so. We are based in Bilbao and our aim since 2010 has been to get out walking and practice our own form of 'shinrin-yoku'! Nowadays, we use the medium of WhatsApp to keep in touch using this site as a portal for the photos and possible routes visitors to the site coul

d explore. We have a word of mouth join up community thing going on to keep it small and full with like-minded people. So, if you do want to join the group please get in touch, let's see if we are compatible, the more the merrier!!. Since autumn 2017 we have branched out and have been on 2 'Walking in English Kids' hikes as well. We consider ourselves knowledgeable about the local area now and we offer travellers a point of reference when looking to connect with the culture and countryside of the Basque Country.
