Our Fall students spent Friday discovering different sides of Andalucía — visiting Bodegas Cayetano del Pino, exploring the Roman ruins of Baelo Claudia, and ending the day on Bolonia Beach. 🇪🇸

First weekend in Sevilla: complete. 🇪🇸✅

Our Fall 2026 students spent their first few days getting to know their new home: from walking through Plaza de España and exploring the city center to their first tostada y café, churros con chocolate, flamenco, and a cruise along the Guadalquivir. ☕🥖💃⛵

A pretty good introduction to Sevilla, if you ask us. 🧡

From Sevilla to Michigan — and back again. 🇪🇸🤝🇺🇸

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of welcoming Sarah Lemelin and Eglee Rodríguez-Bravo from Oakland Community College Oakland Community College to Seville as part of the ICISP site visit.

This summer, we got to continue that connection in Michigan — together with three students who represent the growing partnership between OCC and ICS: Morgan, OCC’s first student to study with us in Spring 2026; Ashlynn, who joined us this summer; and Verity, who will soon be heading to Sevilla for Fall 2026!

What started through ICISP is quickly becoming a wonderful bridge between Michigan and Seville, and we’re excited to see where it goes next. 💛
