🌿 How can sustainable agriculture become a reality?
This was one of the key questions explored during the Sustainability Awareness Day held at the Prek Leap National Institute of Agriculture (NIA) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, as part of the Erasmus+ HARVEST project.
Through interactive discussions, expert presentations, and a visit to a seedling nursery, students discovered how sustainable practices can help address challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and long-term food security.
By combining knowledge exchange with field-based learning, the event encouraged participants to reflect on their role in shaping more resilient and sustainable food systems. 🌱🌍

💡How can education better connect to real jobs in port cities? This spotlight on Seville and Málaga gives some answers.
This month, we're putting the spotlight on the Spanish PortAbility cluster.
What does it actually look like when vocational education connects to the real economy of a port city? That's exactly what our partners in Andalusia are helping us find out on the ground, in Seville and Málaga.
Seville is a city unlike any other in Spain. Its port is the country's only inland seaport, sitting at the meeting point of logistics, industry, rail, road, and river. It forces you to think differently about how goods move, how industries connect, and what skills that economy actually needs.
Málaga tells a different story. A coastal city where cruise activity, tourism, freight logistics, and the push for sustainability are all happening at once and where the question of who gets access to those opportunities matters enormously.
Together, these two cities give PortAbility something rare: a genuinely dual perspective on what port-city transformation looks like in practice, and what role training and education can play in making that transformation more inclusive.
If you work in VET, ports, urban development, or economic policy this is the kind of work worth following.
Share this post to help more people discover what's being built in Seville and Málaga, and tag anyone who should know about it.
