ISMMS-Spain 2025. 7th Biennial International Conference

Just a friendly reminder that the call for chapters for the book "New Metal Worlds: Hybridisms in Extreme Music" is closing soon. The deadline will not be extended due to the number of proposals already received. If you're interested, please submit your abstract by September 30.

We witnessed a bunch of excellent presentations at the ISMMS-Spain that clearly highlighted the new metal worlds emerging at the edge of the scenes and our field of study. Here's the call for book chapters announced at the conference, focusing on the path of hybridization you've pioneered within metal studies.

Many of you had to go home before the closing concert.
