Global Sustainability Fellows Program

The Global Sustainability Fellows program is off to a great start. The 2023 GSF cohort, nineteen carefully selected international postgraduates from fourteen countries, recently completed a three-week Virtual Orientation/pre-program session with Michael Ben-Eli, Vanessa Armendáriz, and Lee Frankel-Goldwater. For the next three weeks, the cohort will have an immersive experience in La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain where they will focus on fieldwork and will apply multidisciplinary perspectives and The Sustainability Laboratory's own unique approach to sustainability to help address the island of La Palma's long-term development needs. The experience will include sessions and activities with Bernard P. Amadei, Diego Barrera de Paz, Andrea M. Bassi, Therese Bennich, Mia Black, Peter Dean, Carlos Fernández Hernández, Matías González, Carmelo J. León, Dr. Constantin Malik, and more than a dozen international professors and local experts. The Sustainability Laboratory is still accepting applications for its intensive six-week 2023 Global Sustainability Fellows program. The first three weeks comprise a series of virtual sessions (June 5 to June 23, 2023) and is followed by an additional three-week on-site experience in La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain (July 9 to July 30, 2023).

We're thrilled to be back and to announce that The Sustainability Laboratory is now accepting applications for its 2023 Global Sustainability Fellows Program.
