The One of One Automotive Case Competition offered a technical deep dive into the world of alternative investments, specifically focusing on luxury classic cars as an institutionalized asset class for UHNWIs and Family Offices. Founded by Llorenç Mitjavila and Javier Aguilar Guindulain, the fund provided a platform for students to move beyond traditional modeling and analyze the financial viability of collectible cars. 📈

In collaboration with and , participants operated as analysts and consultants, developing strategies based on specific car models, rigorous market data, and targeted investment budgets. The competition required a high level of financial precision and an understanding of how these niche assets fit into complex portfolios. 📊

Beyond the analytical work, the event focused on professional networking, providing a space for 100 students to connect and exchange ideas. The success of the competition reflects the commitment of the Esade Finance and Esade Motor teams to delivering high-level, industry-specific experiences that bridge the gap between academic theory and alternative asset management. 🤝💼
