The history of coal merchant
There was once a merchant who mined coal from its mine to sell in the market. I had some problems at work and though all its energy concentrated in a solvent, was unsuccessful. The problems continued for a long time and gradually got worse. Finally, the merchant I was so tired that he left everything and went to the Himalayas to meditate.
After a long meditation, the Lord Ishwara, satisfied with the sacrifice of the merchant, appeared and asked, "What do you want?, What is your problem?"
"My lord," replied the merchant, "I have serious difficulties with my work in mines and not how to solve them. It would be very happy if you bless me with a remedy."
Iswara said, "Oh, only that. This is a very simple solution. As you know, I have a lot of spirits around me, I can give you one that does all the work for you."
"Wonderful," said the merchant.
"There is only one condition: the spirit needs to work constantly, can not be stopped even one time, otherwise you will eat! No matter what job you assign long as you keep busy."
The merchant said, "Lord do not worry, if that is the condition, was delighted to accept, I have so much work that can not be finished in many years." When the Lord Ishwara disappeared and in its place appeared the spirit.
"Give me a task," said the ghost.
"First take me home," ordered the merchant. In a blink of an eye, the merchant and spirit were standing in front of the house. The merchant could not believe that the spirit was so efficient and I was very happy and thankful to the Lord Ishwara.
Before the merchant had time to finish their thoughts of wonder, the spirit said, "Give me a job." The merchant said he had a lot of work for him and that he should take note: The first thing was to go to mine and extract enough coal to fill the cars, then drive the cars into the yard where I had to empty them, then return the mine to extract another load and unload it in the yard, continuing until the yard was full.
The spirit said the merchant, "There are many complications. This is just a suggestion, up to you as I order and of course I'll do what you say, but I can extract enough coal from the mine and fill the yard directly."
"It's fantastic," said the merchant, "Let's do that." Having just say this, the spirit disappeared for a moment. "What happened?" asked the merchant.
"All is done," replied the spirit.
"All I asked for the coal yard is full of your mine."
"No, that's not possible I will go to him myself." When the merchant was about to take the horse to go into the yard, the spirit broken.
"Just a suggestion, I can take you to court."
"Of course, I forgot, of course you can take." Immediately appeared in the courtyard and the merchant saw that it was full of coal.
"Give me a task," said the spirit. The merchant had no idea that all this work could be done so fast. The spirit had made the job a snap than a thousand workers take years to do. So the merchant suggested many other works of the spirit. The spirit cleaned the house and office, took over the garden and many other things. But at the end of each task, immediately called for more work. The merchant began to panic as he ran out of work and if it gave him something to make you swallow.
Finally, the merchant began to run away from him, but fortunately had an idea. "Take me to see the Lord Ishwara," said the spirit. At the time were in the Himalayas and the merchant saw the Lord later. "There is Ishwara," said the spirit, "see now, I'll wait here."
"Come with me," said the merchant.
"This is beyond my jurisdiction," the spirit replied, "I can not move from this point, I'll wait here and give me instructions when you return."
"Merchant did not lose more time and ran screaming to the Lord Ishwara," Lord, Lord, help me please, I beg you!
Iswara said, "What?"
"Lord, now I have a bigger problem. Please, take your spirit."
"What, this is not possible. This was not the deal."
"Sorry, please help me, I have no more tasks to the spirit and now he will eat, you gotta help me."
Iswara said, "Look, let me tell you a secret." Then he said something to him.
The merchant was very happy. Returned from the Himalayas and ordered him home to the spirit, not we just say when I was there.
"Give me a job."
"Go and dig a deep hole in front of my house." At the time the well was dug.
"Give me a job."
"Make seven steps that go down into the well." It was done. "Now do the other seven steps on the other side to climb." This meant so little work for the ghost that was done in an instant.
This time the merchant was very happy, "Now go down to the bottom of the hole very carefully, making sure you go through each step to go down and then up again on the other side taking care to step on each stair climbing without forgetting any . Repeat this work all the time to give you further instructions. "
Now the spirit was complete and constantly busy and, from time to time, the merchant will charge to do something, then returning to their constant work up and down the well. "
Shriyukteswarji said that our mind is made up of five elements, five sense organs and five organs of action, and that is the product of Ishwara pranidhana. The mind is turbulent, always trying to devour. Our domestic well already exists within the spine, was excavated by the five elements (Bhuta) earth, water, fire, air and ether. With the suggestion of our eternal Father, with the practice of Ishwara pranidhana-the vital force (the Holy Spirit) can go up and down inside and never ask for more work. On the other hand you can use anytime for any purpose. Thus the mind is constantly immersed in the practice and spirit can become the Holy Spirit (bramhabhuta)
