Our last day of term is always special at Easter when the learners come in to school wearing an Easter bonnet to parade and where at the end of day there is a parent’s competition. This year was especially special to celebrate the forthcoming wedding of Melissa and James in Bali this month. We wish them and all our community a truly wonderful Easter and look forward to their return on Monday 17th April.

On 10 February, we took part in the fundraising initiative organised by the British Council, NABSS, British and Ukrainian Embassies in Spain to support the humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. Thanks to the generosity of our small international community, we raised a grand total of 350 euros. This will be added to all the other participating British schools in Spain and be handed over to the Ukrainian Embassy tomorrow being the anniversary of the invasion.

Today we celebrated World Book Day with all our learners coming into school dressed as a book character. There were some marvellous creations and the whole day was dedicated to reading with the older children reading to the younger ones, lots of creative writing and stories told at the end of the day. Another lovely calm and purposeful day so special to Mont21.
