Did you know that around Vilnius city you can find female-empowering pedestrian traffic lights?
In 2018, the city of Vilnius installed female traffic lights to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women's right to vote in Lithuania. These 14 traffic lights can be found along the main Konstitucijos pr.
This symbol serves to remember the goals and progress achieved by women in Lithuania but at the same time it highlights how much more needs to be done for total emancipation.
