A Day of Shakespearean Magic at our KS3 Festival! 🎭

Parents were treated to an enchanting afternoon at the KS3 Shakespeare Festival on Wednesday. Our talented students brought ‘The Taming of the Shew’, ‘Macbeth’ and ‘Romeo and Juliet’ to life; impressing everyone with their passion and talent.

Torre Pacheco success! 🏅🏆

Yesterday Sports Counsellor Pedro Baro Jimenez and Technical Sports Counsellor Paco Jimenez visited King’s College School Murcia to celebrate our success in the local and regional sports competitions.

All students who participated in events collected a medal, with students also receiving a diploma if they came in the top 3 positions. It was a lovely atmosphere, and we received great feedback on our students’ dedication. Our school had the highest participation rate in the area!

Oliver! What a fantastic school performance! 🎤

Last week we were treated to an amazing rendition of Oliver! from our Primary and Secondary students. The acting, singing and dancing were incredible and we loved performing in the Roldán civic centre. A special thank you to our music teacher and support staff.

Champions of the Region of Murcia! 🏀

Our under 14 girls Basketball team played an outstanding match on Saturday to be crowned Champions of Murcia.

They have shown great dedication through regular training, as well as wonderful team work. The future is bright for this team! ☀️

Basketball finalists! ⛹️‍♀️🏀

On Saturday 11th of May, our girls’ Under 14 basketball team played in the semi-finals of the regional championships and won! The girls played with passion, energy and incredible skill. We cannot wait for the final on Saturday 18th of May!

Will they become Murcian champions?

N332 and traffic police come to school! 🚗🚨

On Thursday, we were lucky enough to have a road safety talk from the N332. We invited them in as we were concerned about the number of students using electric scooters and wanted to ensure they are both safe and compliant with the law.

After looking at road signs and their different meanings, the presenter invited 7 of our pupils on stage to wear goggles which simulated different situations - for example, feeling tired on the road and even having your judgement impaired by alcohol or drugs! This excellent presentation was informative and interactive; we thank the N332 for coming to our school and educating us on road safety.

IB Careers Programme expert comes to King’s College Murcia 📖

On Tuesday, Maripé Menéndez, IBCP expert, gave a fantastic presentation about the different pathways available for our future Year 12 and Year 13 students. She explained the differences between the IB Diploma and the IBCP, giving lots of practical advice about deciding between the two.

It was a pleasure to have her here and the turnout from parents was great to see!
