Our Elementary students had fun with our little of used toys and books market on Tuesday and Wednesday. We raised 384 euros for Kapita School! Thank you to all the students and families who helped make this a success with your donations!

On Thursday, October 31, American School of Valencia hosted the sixth edition of our Halloween Party. The top event was a redesigned haunted house but there was also an area with games and arts and crafts for children, food and drinks in Park B, a costume contest, and a magic show featuring the local magician Santillusions. Thank you to everyone who attended.

HALLOWEEN IS HERE! 👻🎃
Are you ready for the spookiest Haunted House ASV has ever had? Last day to reserve your tickets online for the (https://forms.gle/HAGtVSqGxtxdUjn98) - there will also be a ticket sale in the entrance for those who have not bought them.
As a reminder, the event will proceed as follows:
- 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM: Food and drinks
- 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Games and activities for children
- 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Haunted House (not recommended for younger children)
- 8:15 PM - 8:45 PM: Costume contest
- 8:45 PM - 9:30 PM: Magical final show with Santillusions

The ASV Elementary Student Council and the ASV Foundation recently sponsored a which was successful beyond anything we could have imagined. Students showed tremendous enthusiasm for this event and a total of $622.44 was raised for Kapita School.

Remember that in a Penny War, 50 cent coins are counted negatively so the actual total for the winning class (Grade 5 Blue) when counted conventionally was €162.90. Due to the enthusiasm and robust participation, the school will award a short activity to the second-place winner, Grade 3 Blue.

The ASV Foundation and the ASV Elementary School Student Council organized a used toy and books sale on Tuesday this week. Thanks to the wonderful participation, the sale was a success with €418 collected! With these funds and the high school sponsored bakes sales in 2018, the American School of Valencia Foundation can fund some much needed reading books for Kapita School students in Zambia.
