Youth exchange "Unplug to reconnect"

"Unplug to reconnect" was a youth exchange which took place in Puente Genil, Córdoba, from 14th to 23rd March. Their age range were between 18 - 30 years old.

The participants were from Serbia, Poland, Portugal, France and Spain.

KEY COMPETENCIES

During the Youth Exchange 'Unplug to reconnect', our participants could have daily access to wallpapers where they can fill and write the different competencies we were working during the day. It was a really good idea so that they can fill their Youthpass once the exchange has finished.

DAY 9.

In the morning, they could think about their future and how the project had influenced them. Moreover, we had WHAT DID IT MEAN TO YOU workshop so that participants could reflect about what they have lived during this week. Secondly, we had some closing activities such as the Youthpass delivery and the closing act for some games we were playing during the exchange.

We had a final dinner in a special bar to eat some tapas, they enjoyed the day!!!!

DAY 8.

TRIP TO CORDOBA!!!! We disseminate the project in the city of Cordoba where we enjoyed the gastronomy and its culture.

During the afternoon, we visited Loyola University and we developed a workshop with some of its students about how to detect real and fake news.

DAY 7.

Again, our day started with an energizer. Later on, we continued with the main workshop of the day "JOURNALIST FOR A DAY". It consisted on learning how to create audiovisual and informative content throughout the explanation of Erasmus+ and the project in itself.

During the afternoon, we had a great time with Lourdes. She developed with us a worksheet of BIODANCE and participants enjoyed it a lot.

DAY 6.

We began with energizers full of energy!!! Then, we started the day activities with a workshop called " SWOT", in groups participants had to think about social networks to carry out different taks, for instance looking for a job. Thus, they had to think about their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. It was really interesting since participants could share a lot of new social networks.

Later, we continued with "A WINDOW TO THE WORLD" workshop. In this case, we talked about challenges and we could watch some funny and dangerous ones. After, they brainstormed different categories and developed the challenge they chose.

In the afternoon, we had a collaboration with GetBrit English school. We carried out a gymkhana with their students and encourage them to know and talk to us as well as know some facts about the different cultures.

At night, we enjoyed Spain intercultural night sharing quite good moments with the participants.

DAY 5.

WONDERFUL DAY! We travelled to Malaga city to disseminate the project there. Our participants could enjoy a great day in the city sightseeing and enjoying the beach for a while.

DAY 4.

We started the day with some energizers to continue with the workshop "The more, the merrier", working on some dynamics in order to boost team-work as well as solve problems.

During the afternoon, we continue working on "NICE TO MEET YOU(R) PROJECTION" workshop which is an easy but deep activity. We ask participants to write their personal information on a sheet of paper. Then, they are going to share that with the rest of the participants and they will define each other in another part of the sheet. In that way, we will get their own definition and other people's definition about you, that is, your projection. Finally, we will analyse together everybody Instagram profiles so that we can be aware of what unknown people see about us.

Secondly, we had another workshop called "FORGOT TO MENTION". It consisted on knowing each other but more deeply.

We finished the day with other intercultural evening. In this case, the countries were France and Poland. It was reeeeeeally funny!!!!

DAY 3.

We started carrying out the different workshops and activities that are programmed to be carried out during the project.

During the morning, we have the Secret Mission in Puente Genil. Here, the participants had to talk with local people in order to know some culture of our village. Besides, they had to develop some tasks around Puente Genil to discover it.

During the afternoon, we started with the first workshop of the project. Together as a group, we began by defining social networks and we outlined all the pros and cons of their usage.

During the evening, we had a night in Puente Genil. We accompany the participants to know a typical cultural night of Romanos during Lent. We went to the church together ending up enjoying the night with some music in a bar.

DAY 2.

We had the official opening of the project, explaining the main issues about Eramus +, we introduced them all the accomodation and project rules and we exhanged each other a mug.
About the activities: we worked on the life path, talking about our lifes experiences and how they have affected our lives and make us be the people we are nowadays illustrating it in a poster, we also explained the Youthpass they will finally achieve.
Last but not least: we had our Intercultural evenings and we could enjoy French and Serbian culture tasting some food from their countries.
