The Heart of Mamama Baby School ❤️

In a small, vibrant town nestled between hills, fields, and the Mediterranean Sea, our family’s dream came to life as Mamama Baby School—a nursery unlike any other.

This project began with our family’s core belief: that every child deserves a nursery that feels like a second home -a place where they are cherished, nurtured, and free to thrive, just as they would in the loving arms of their own family.

The inspiration for the nursery came from my mother, Abuela Graciela, lovingly called ‘Mamama’ by all her grandchildren.

She was the heart of our family—a natural storyteller, a steady guide and the person who made everyone feel safe and loved.

Mamama often reminded us, “Every child is a gift, and every family deserves a village to raise them.”

Inspired by her wisdom and warmth, I knew I wanted to create a space where her spirit could live on: a nursery filled with love, laughter, and learning, where children and families could feel at home.

Building the Dream

From the moment we began, every detail was infused with purpose and passion. We designed the nursery to be both beautiful and functional; classrooms bathed in natural light, cozy reading corners, and colorful spaces that sparked imagination and creativity.

Outside, we built a world of exploration: a patio surrounded by plants, a play area with climbing structures, a tiny road for bikes, a big sandpit to enjoy and experiment, plenty of games to enjoy and learn and a vegetable garden where little hands could discover the joy of growing their own food.

Every corner of Mamama Baby School was designed to inspire curiosity, joy, and a sense of belonging.

Yesterday we celebrated Father’s Day at Mamama with all our amazing dads who came to join us in a special celebration 🎉

Our little monkeys were so happy to share time with them at school and they were very proud of their artwork!

After a very fun Circle Time together, we headed towards our art stations: the little ones made beautiful paintings in canvas and the big ones did some very cool T-shirts with the motto “Daddy’s Bestie”

It was surely a day to remember! 🥰

Ayer celebramos el Día del Padre en Mamama con todos nuestros increíbles papás, quienes vinieron a acompañarnos en una celebración especial. 🎉

¡Nuestros little monkeys estaban encantados de compartir tiempo con ellos en Mamama y estaban muy orgullosos de sus obras de arte!

Después de un Círculo de Actividades muy divertido, nos dirigimos a nuestras estaciones de arte: los peques hicieron preciosos cuadros en lienzo y los mayores hicieron unas camisetas geniales con el lema “El Mejor Amigo de Papá”.

¡Sin duda fue un día para recordar! 🥰

Lo que puede parecer un simple desastre, en realidad es evidencia de aprendizaje. ✨

Parece que solo estoy pintando en mi camisa, pero en realidad he estado trabajando en mis habilidades motoras finas y desarrollando mi creatividad.🎨

Estos pueden parecer garabatos hechos con marcador, pero son una prueba de que estoy practicando mis habilidades de escritura. ✏️

Puede que vuelva a casa con tierra en mi camisa, pero es porque salí a explorar.🧭

¿Mi camisa parece tener arena? Es porque he estado trabajando en la cooperación y en compartir en el arenero. 🙌🏻

A veces derramo cosas sobre mi ropa mientras todavía estoy aprendiendo a usar utensilios y a servir mis propias bebidas. 🍴🥛
