People often ask -
“How come you’re still happy & content training Yachtmasters after almost 20 years?”
And I show them messages like this, which I received today from a student I’ve worked with over the last two weeks.
This is what gets me and all our experienced instructors jumping out of bed each morning.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all the very best in life, master! Having you as an instructor was truly a gift — we’re very fortunate for that. For 20 years, you’ve been dedicated to shaping skilled sailors, and I’m certain that many outstanding professionals out there today have passed through your hands.
Thank you immensely for everything. I hope to see you again — a big hug.”
And that message was sent BEFORE his Yachtmaster exam started this morning.
Good luck tonight & tomorrow my new friend. Fair winds.

RYA Yachtmaster examiners fire random theoretical questions at their candidates during a weekends exam.
Each Monday about this time we post a typical question, see if you can answer this one. We will post the correct answer tomorrow at about noon.
